  • song?

  • how did you afford this much track, are you millionares, or did tomy/fisher price support you?

  • u guys r the best i would like to c tht train set in person i watch all ur video's

  • amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

  • how long is that in MILES?

  • errr mm...guys....ever heard of watching or playing sport for a hobby....??

  • hmmm now we need to do an american version! LETS SEE WHO CAN DREAM IT! :D

  • that bitch in the begining got mixed up with the little engine that could. Idiot.

  • I like the way you put all the other engines on sidings as if they were cheering thomas. That must have been murder on that engine's motor

  • I wasn't in the video, but I was there on the day! It was fantastic to see that a toy train could make it that far!

I was the kid that asked you to make Thomas use the swinging bridge on one of the play sets next to the actual track. I also asked if you were the guy who knows how ot make the Tomy trains go backwards.

Also, Sir Topham Hatt stayed in character nicely for the whole day.

Overall, GREAT job, I'm proud to have been there.

  • I remember you. Thanks for coming along and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

  • i bet if that was a real set that would cost more then $100

  • Probably more like $10,000

  • Well done guys, nice video

  • The big Thomas is an attraction at the Museum where we broke the record. They have a Thomas month every year. It is not a train, it is a huge pretend Thomas, on wheels. It has "steam", a whistle and often points out that it is more useful than others within 50 meters

  • You must be very proud. =)

  • Well done.

  • Wow, what i'd do to see that... but sadly, I live in the US so I can't!

  • How many pieces of track were used? I think it's over 9,000!

  • 10,197 pieces; 1,320 of the wooden supports

  • @TooMuchThomas Were the supports custom built?

  • Yes. We had lengths of timber and got the holes (tunnels) cut into them with a laser cutter

  • wow

  • So this is your layout!? Nice, good job :)

  • congradulations you guys! not everyone can say that they set a world record!

  • This isn't the longest train track in the world as james may recentley got 3 00 gauge trains 10 miles which is consideraly longer than 2.014km.

  • Our's is the Longest TOY train track. There would be a record for the longest MODEL train track but I don't know what it is

  • @TooMuchThomas James may made the longest Toy train track with Hornby he did it in April 2011. He made 3 OO gauge trains go for ten miles. Which is longer than 2.014 KM.

  • Check out the Guinness World Record web site.

  • Amazing job! you guys really know how stretch the limits and make it happen!

  • Awsome!

  • Thomas needs a new battery I would assume after that journey!

  • Thomas went for 3 hours on 1 Duracell Ultra battery. I think he could have done the track again on that battery (but we did not try it ... we went home for a well earnt rest)

  • amazing!

so how does it feel now that your the holder of the world record :P

  • It feels fantastic

  • YOU GUY ROCK GOOD JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Finally A New Video And NICE JOB SETTING THE RECORD
