surely snead played it badly. how can he reraise scot to 3m leaving him 1.76m left behind and then be like fu*k when he shoves? he should have made that play to induce /expect the all in shove or just pushed all in over scot anyway. you dont make that reraise to fold the shove, so he should have thought about it and made either a fold on the flop, reraise all in or reraise enough to only give scot the option of fold or shove and be prepared to call a shove. it 1.76m into like nearly 10m!!

@synvazn - because it's a tournament the blinds and antes go up every few minutes so in a few more minutes she will only have 30 bb left. a few more minutes she will only have 15 bb left. it's really annoying when you're playing and it seems all players are taking their sweet time. so it is her right to do it and she has valid reasons. but in this situation, especially since she's not in the hand, it's a total cunt move.
She started the day 4th in chips and very close to a guaranteed final table. If she was short she had nobody to blame but herself. Only she wasn't short. Not when she called the clock. The only thing that makes sense is that she was outclassed(as a player) and outnumbered. She was tilted and this was part of how she tilts. That and there weren't any big name pros at the table so there weren't any famous butts to kiss.
Monty bets more than he has to on the flop, 1.5 mil to win 1.7 mil, roughly 1/3rd of his stack. If Snead is going to raise at all, he should raise all-in, since a call forces Monty to put in 2/3rds of is stack, pot committing him anyway.
Monty's 3 bet all in is particularly bad because Snead is already (seemingly) pot committed having put in 2/3rds or Monty's stack, even worse considering he has nothing. Snead is getting about 5 1/2 to 1 on a call after the all-in. Easy snap call.

take 5 secs to calculate pot odds, i put about 4 mil in, the other guy raise all in for another 1.76, "o im getting 5:1 with top pair, backdoor flush and straight outs, my 7 or J might be good, i call" thats wut should happen. wut shouldnt happen is som1 stares at a pot of 9.5mil for 2 minutes with 1.76 left and holding top pair and starts to whine. that bitch hears snead say " i definately have outs" so she decides to save everybody some time

@asdffdsafdsa123 Completely agree! On top of that, people need to realize in tournaments, blinds will eat you alive so you want to play as much poker as possible while they are still relatively low.
On top of that, the guy's opponent told him what he wished. How much more time would he need to get a tell out of that?
As if THAT wasn't enough, he knew math wise it was a call and survival wise it was a fold. Find your goal and the answer is pretty clear cut.

@synvazn - because it's a tournament the blinds and antes go up every few minutes so in a few more minutes she will only have 30 bb left. a few more minutes she will only have 15 bb left. it's really annoying when you're playing and it seems all players are taking their sweet time. so it is her right to do it and she has valid reasons. but in this situation, especially since she's not in the hand, it's a total cunt move.

She started the day 4th in chips and very close to a guaranteed final table. If she was short she had nobody to blame but herself. Only she wasn't short. Not when she called the clock. The only thing that makes sense is that she was outclassed(as a player) and outnumbered. She was tilted and this was part of how she tilts. That and there weren't any big name pros at the table so there weren't any famous butts to kiss.

Monty bets more than he has to on the flop, 1.5 mil to win 1.7 mil, roughly 1/3rd of his stack. If Snead is going to raise at all, he should raise all-in, since a call forces Monty to put in 2/3rds of is stack, pot committing him anyway.
Monty's 3 bet all in is particularly bad because Snead is already (seemingly) pot committed having put in 2/3rds or Monty's stack, even worse considering he has nothing. Snead is getting about 5 1/2 to 1 on a call after the all-in. Easy snap call.

I do think that was wrong on many levels, but I can't really blame her because the bottom line is that it is her choice, if she wants to be unethical she can - she's the one who has to live with the consequences.
With that said, if she is short on chips doesn't it actually help her that he's taking a long time, giving more time for someone to bust at another table while her chips remain safe?
To avoid such an unpleasant situation why not have the dealer run the clock every hand anyway?
