Why oh why does the driver not get behind the white Porsche and draft the car after the first chicane? Instead the Chevron moves to the left lane, the passing lane, and potentially blocks faster cars coming up behind. Most importantly, though, the move to the left lane accomplishes nothing except to push the same air as the Porsche which forces the Chevron to take 2 more miles to pass the Porsche. Great video and still a nice lap.
The B16 has c. 40 more HP than a 906 Carrera 6's 236 hp.
At Sebring 906's were more reliable than the B16's, even the B21's.... and would be faster on top end than the later rolling door stop cars... as late as 1972, against "faster" B21's and Lola 212's.... to win one, must finish!!
What's the engine in this one? Ford 1.8?
