I am a big fan of Elbow, but I also like a lot of Snow Patrol's stuff aswell. I don't think they did the song justice with this attempt, but that doesn't mean they couldn't cover a multitude of other Elbow songs and pull it off.

snow patrol should stick to chasing cars they have made their mark and stamped their identity that songs is theirs; this however is elbows there are better amatuers doing this song check out the guy using his wife and daughters as backing singers quite good.

atleast change the song a bit.
gary's voice wil never ever be as good as guy garvey's, so keeping the song exactly the same is just gonna make gary look bad (or guy better).
Elbow all the way for me.

I don't remember writing that or ever seeing this video. A friend using my computer must have written it.
... although I must admit this performance is a bit lacking. Can't judge Lightbody though - I don't know the guy!

I love both Snow Patrol and Elbow, but this cover just doesn't work, it's not bad but they could of spent their time doing a much better cover.

It just gets worse the more you hear it - for health and safety reasons, turn this off now. How they manage to bleed all the love and energy from this wonderful song is a miracle in itself.
