Screw you EA Sports. Why don't you make a game that doesn't freeze up on PS2. For those of you who don't know, Madden 05 - 08, 09? freezes up after you go into franchise mode. It will effect your whole game so that it always freezes up once gameplay starts.

It really sucks because Madden has an NFL monopoly right now so they can make all the defective games they want.

This is simple, Madden for 360 and ps3 are only good for the graphics. ps2 and regular xbox are good for the smooth gameplay, smart computer A.I., and accurate player attributes. So it all comes down to this, do you want a game that looks real or plays realistically??

I played madden 08 on ps2, but i got a ps3 this month and I read that they're improving every mechanic on ps3 and 360 so Madden 09 won't be good on ps2. Though madden08 was probably the most fluent on ps2 it won't be the same on ps3

well the ps3 version is crap.... because the frame rate is to slow the frame rate is to high and EA isnt use to it thats why the gameplay is still slower... i like the ps2 version because u can see the whole screen when u pass and u dont have to guess when ur throwing it to ur reciever...

i just bought Madden 08 for Xbox off ebay tonight because the 360 version still sucks, after 3 tries (i'm not going to list why-google it and you'll see lists all over the place on why Madden 360 is horrible still). the gameplay on current gen is much tighter and there are more features AND NO RADIO ANNOUNCER. going back to the xbox until EA gets their friggin' act together. 2k5(with updated rosters) and Madden 08 on xbox and 2k8on 360. EA next gen blows thus far...no two ways about it.

PS2 Madden is waaay better then PS3/XBox360 Madden. The players run so much faster, the plays are easier to pick, and the gameplay is just much faster. Screw graphics.
