As a fellow Asperger-ite, all I can really say about Mr N here is that I've never seen him signficantly any chattier! Matchbox's 'Over the Rainbow' would've been based on Rockers' God Supreme Gene Vincent's 1959 version.
@LordArsehat.If you read up about Asperger's syndrome and read Gary's history you will see that he has this syndrome for sure. His facial features, words and body language actually show the syndrome!.He was under behavioural psychologists when young at school. The interesting thing though,is that the syndrome could well be responsible for how he perceives the world around him,so its indirectly responsible for his music as they are also understood to have a much higher IQ than average people.
His answers are laughable no wonder he was mocked by the press "I don't know why I'm retiring" as much as I love Numans music from that period he didn't have a clue how to put himself across in interviews and the arseburgers syndrome is just bollocks but that doesn't stop him telling everyone he talks that he's got it despite never being diagnosed by an expert.
Yes I remembered reading that he claimed he had Asperges Syndrome. I don't think he was diagnosed as having one. Although in this interview, his expression does look like he's having some type of autism, but unless its confirmed by a psychiatrist, its difficult to say !!!
@LordArsehat You act like you personally know the man. According to an article in the Independent, he was diagnosed in 2001. Either way, you don't have to be diagnosed by an expert to have AS.

I am a bit like this too when people ask me questions, or when I try to maintain some conversation. But me, I'm socially inept.
