i love your videos rich..i have big question sony vegas movie studio 8 plat...cloning and masking is much different ,infact there is no masking key,,can i still do the cloning effect with out that option..love the program but hate thet fact i dont have that on sony veg movie studio 8 plat

thanks so much Larry! I think that the mask tool is available only on the Pro versions, however, you can create a split screen or clone using the Cookie cutter tool on the FX tools. If you check out my tutorial called' no green screen try split screen' (in the playlist on my channel) it shows how to use this tool. Hope it helps!
