I'm out of Payday advance from amscot!!!! and I've also cut out the $35 charges from the bank from overdraft!!!!!! this is a great challenge. thank you soooooooo much and thanks to everyone else with their comments and suggestion. since I started last night I've told a coworker and a member of my church I plan on telling a lot of other people.... :-D i plan to catch up and finish STRONG!!!!!
I'm sooooooooooooo Glad I paid off my Jeeep around may of 2010. all i've been doing is keep my car in shape so that I can keep it for a really long time I NEVER want to get another car payment. I want to have $5,000 in my savings one day but for now i'll be good. I want to have all my student loans paid within the next two years. etc. thank's sparkwisdom for your tips :-)...On top of the 52 week challenge i'm also putting 10% of each of my paycheck in a saving account.
I've been participating in the financial challenge and doing Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover. God willing my truck will be paid off by the end of the year and I'll be able to kick Sallie Mae out the door in a couple of years which will be the end of our debt except for mortgage. I recommend his book and radio show.
My financial freedom is to have my student loans paid off in 5 years, my credit cards paid off by next year, and to consistently save money from each and every paycheck!
You are Amazing..glad I subscribe. You are really helping me to stay focus on the things I need to get done... a) Credit Cards b) my projects I never complete. Thank You sooooooo much.
Congrats on accomplishing your desired goal (paying off yor car)! Keeps us all motivated to stay in the race. Still saving, not eating out is a choice and sending my money where it needs to go, if anywhere. Just reading the other comments of financial freedom is so, so motivating! Still paying debts on time, knocking things down one at a time....Until next week's drop...Blessings!
Hey it's great to see you! God is certainly blessing you like always! Glad to hear all is going well with you. Keep on doing your thing and thanks for encouraging us all and keeping us informed on how to do what our passion drives us to do! God Bless Sis,
Your skin does looks great by the way. I have seen the process of how shea butter is done. That is a really good size. I have seen it much bigger than that, wow!! My goal to get out of debt is what i want to do and it has been challenging.
Ur skin looks great. I was wondering why I haven't seen a vdo from u. I Honestly have been watching ur 52 wk challenge vdos & I'm going to join you starting next week. So if i calculate it right it's $153 for wk 17 right? Glad business is good well for you. I'm glad to see your doing ur thing.
i am happy to say that i have been completely debt-free since january 2009. Now i'm working on saving, i did a bit then baby came, i went a bit nuts, i discovered youtube and natural hair products, went a bit nuts on those too, now i'm back on track, and saving hard. thank you for your videos! congrats on paying off the car woop woop yyyyaaaayyy!!!!
Congrats on paying off your car... Yippee!!! I am paying off debts from smallest to large so I am hitting the credit cards first. But baby I can't wait to snowball all that money to pay off the car. Your progress is AWESOME. You really keep me encouraged!!! BTW - I'm in for week 15 and 16 ---- YAY!
I was just saying "where is sparkwisdom" and here you are today with a video..hahaha! glad to see ya spark! Congrats on paying off your car! I am currently working on a loan that I will be done paying on in January 2011 which will free up some money to put towards another bill. This challenge has definitely helped me focus more on paying off my bills and becoming debt free. I've been following along with the challenge faithfully and savings. Glad ur back!
i have my 15 i must put the 16 in and my goal is to pay off my debt in 18 months it totals 17,000 its hard but I am doing my best to stay with the plan i have came up with
@Greatersend I have a busy schedule, so I saved the amount in bulk (20 wks) instead of weekly. Its easier for me to save 20 weeks at a time. Happy Savings!
I have doubled the amount that I saved on a weekly basis. I have saved $470.00 in total so far. This is the first time that I have actually saved and only touched it once.
@onelove471 That is awesome! From week 1-14 I open up a emergency fund account, but you did damn good! And, I;m trying to save for a college tuition too?? LOL
I appreciate ur vids & encouragement. Well I started the challenge end of September. I do not know what I will use the money for as of yet. Before the challenge I was working to clear my credit card debt and I am so close to being credit card debt free before the end of the year. I think I will start really investing for my retirement as I am in my mid 30s, single with no children.I need to work on getting my finances inorder to live a comfortable life.
