Better than that is if you have a surround sound system just turn down or unplug the center channel. The announcers disappear, you still get the car sounds, and can then listen to MRN and/or the scanners on Trackpass

Every time ESPN and ESPN on ABC has Sprint Cup coverage, I always muted the TV and listen to MRN/PRN/IMS radio coverage inside of the final ten laps on ovals and inside of the final five laps at Watkins Glen, the road course Disney covers.

I have been doing this since they edit out the other network commentators (Fox and TNT personnel) on their news shows.

You know what I did? I muted my TV and I turned my radio on MRN Radio, and I watched the Michigan race on my TV and listened to the radio broadcasting at the same time. I think I'll do that from now on since people say MRN Radio can make any race exciting.
