John140111 probably has the wrong fuel pump on the car. I owned a '62 for 29 years, with

no fuel pump problems. It's a "three-hole" pump----not a "two-".

The first owner did, though, because the '61 - '62 pump rods were made of soft brass and would wear prematurely.

always hated the fuel pump overheating problem , it took wooden clothes pins or a sock filled with salt rock !!!

Nice Conti! I had a '66.. sold it.. and now I am the proud owner of 1962 lincoln continental :) .. Beautiful cars.. they sure dont make 'em like they used to.

Beautiful '62 Lincoln! These Lincolns look really nice in that white-ish beige color.
