If I ever have children they also have to watch movies like this one 'cause I don't want them to live in a world of wars and machine guns like they show on TV today! I want them to grow up in a world which is appropriate for children...in a world with magic and wonders...like I did. Childhood is such a wonderful time it was not worth throwing it away so easily!!
I fell madly in love with Tink when she first appeared in 1953 and I still am today. She was the first female who was proud to be herself in an era where all women were expected to be blonde, have huge boobs and no brains whatsoever. My wife of 40 years is like her and likes Tink also. Guys, women are incredible in their own unique way; once you accept that you'll never regret it.
When I was little, I wanted to be Wendy because she got to hang out with Peter Pan. I didn't like and still don't like Tinker Bell because she was jealous of Wendy. LOL!!
@090greengirl As tdfritzthe1st mentioned, it's a preview for the 1990 VHS. I'm not sure whether it's similar to any of the TV commercials though, since I don't recall seeing any of the TV commercials for Peter Pan.
@VideoDigitalization You mean the 1967 film? Awesome! I didn't know there is a 1990 version! I only know there is a 1991 version. How about if you upload the previews and the opening scene to prove that the vhs copy is real. That will surprise the viewers :-D
@090greengirl Just to clarify: This preview for the 1990 version for Peter Pan was taken from The Jungle Book VHS, which was re-released in 1991. So I guess it must have been advertising for a VHS that was already out? But yes, The Jungle Book did make its debut in 1967.
@VideoDigitalization So do you want to upload the opening to The Jungle Book? I bet the 1990 version of The Jungle Book is very rare now. Hopefully I'll find it in the charity shops.
@090greengirl If I do upload the opening to The Jungle Book I'll have to do some recording and editing work on the clip first - I just have to find the time. I wasn't aware of the 'rarity' of The Jungle Book - thanks for pointing that out. I actually got this copy from a charity shop myself - good luck for your search!
@VideoDigitalization Hopefully there will be a difference between the 1990 and the 1991 vhs' of The Jungle Book. And take your time, no rush needed :-D
Peter Pan is a little boring to me, but i do like the villain of Captain Hook though.

Hey everyone,
YES, Peter Pan came out in 1953!
And yet almost 60 years later we're still watching it!
That surely shows our true love for Disney :)

No, no. That's not possible because "The Jungle Book" didn't come out on VHS for the first time until 1991.
