I'd love to help you, but almost everyone has different ideas which handheld is better and why. Like I said, just look at the games you want to play and you will know which console you need. But it's nice to hear that you have already found your match. ;)

I got Disgaea for DS sooo yeah, but I admit Pokemon is fun lol. And Mario kart, and advance wars, and final fantasy, and fire emblem, and worms, ect. Btw I did not give you a thumbs down. ; )

@DTY16 Psp is more for hardcore gamers I think, as it has more games that are ports and remakes of old classics (not to say DS doesnt have its share). The other thing is that most hardcore gamers like the classic d-pad and stuff and would prefer not to use a stupid gimmic (touch screens and even worse, swing a fuckin remote to do something) But thats just my opinion.

@ToxicTeapot Hmm. I think DS has more remakes and ports. This isnt always a good thing, but the DS likes to remake SNES games, and many gamers agree SNES games are, well, the best.

Now when I said the DS had more fun games, that may have been a little unfair seeing as the DS has over 5000 games and PSP has over 1330.

You best believe they dropped most of that touch screen crap during '06.

@DTY16 I have a DS myself, but all I use for is, yeah, SNES remakes and stuff like Chrono Trigger and D-quest V, but IMO Nintendo has, as far as modertn games go, abandoned their old fans, with most of their games today being designed for little kiddies and their parents and Grandparents, not that I have a problem with that, but I miss old nintendo. And, yes I know there are a few proper nintendo games, but not enough for my liking, what would have been wrong with a next gen gamecube? :)

@DTY16 Actually DS do have more than... 5000 games by now (Not sure but if not, is around that number), thing is, theres ALOT of ... "Rubbishgames", I believe DS have quite some Quality titles so does the PSP, but DS "wins" by Quantity.

If instead of going fo the UMD format, they went for the Online Store scheme, and made the PSP more... Handheld-friendly from the start, I'm sure alot of Developers would have been more interested in developing games on it.

Even Sony said that was the first idea.

@Radici20 Granted, the DS's library started out TERRIBLE, but it grew into using the touch screen less, or giving you a choice (Like DragonBall Origins 2), and overall beter games.

But the point of all of this is that the DS version of Disgaea was a lazy rudsh job. They could have easily fit all of the voice acting in a 256MB cart, maybe even a 128MB . They also could have had better music too. At least the core of the game is still intact though.

@DTY16 Yep, At first it was really frustating, I don't mind if they add the Touch Screen as a the core of the gameplay, MEANWHILE, there is always a alternative, I find it annoying, and sometimes, frustating, to have to play with Stylus ALL the time. It would have been nice if the screen had the same quality level as the iPhone, thus removing the need of a Stylus.

And yeah, is quite sad they sometime don't give the same amount of "love" to Hand-held games, such as this one, there is no excuse.

@ToxicTeapot The really big problem with the PSP for me is the Single thumb stick. Sony just made one really bad idea there. Funny, cause you think they would have learned from sega putting one thumbstick on the dreamcast.
