  • Much respect from Canada

  • I heard the u.s president is sending an entire expeditionary force of our friends the u.s marines to a new base in Darwin Australia

  • I cant wait to join the ADF and into Rifleman to aid those in need and defend my country... I do not care if I die, if i do die, i die for my country, America, Britain, France etc. I will fight with you and your country!

  • @blackbullet321 good luck, seriously, you'll need it Rifleman is one of the hardest roles to get into at the moment, you're probably better off joining as a infantry officer or in another role and transfering later (or joining as a chocko)

  • fuckin taliban- rarely go into a fair gunfight, they know the aussies will kick their asses.

  • Aussie's get them sumbitches! Cheers from a Blackhawk crewchief US army and a Texan all in one.

  • @vuduvince haha, kinda sad, the SASR/CDO forces deployed have acess to more US aircraft (chinooks, blackhawks and apache support) than our entire country has bought, wouldn't be able to do it without the US support

  • Australians are fucking badass

  • I don't get it, why not just drop an atomic bomb on the country?

  • @TheLouisCL agree, but it wud spark WW3

  • To all those fucking stupid americans, Australia is the largest contributor of troops to the war effort in Afganistan outside NATO countries and this comes from a Brit! You yanks really need to stop with all this 'mines bigger than yours' shit and appreciate that your dickhead's in government even gets any help at all, and i really do hope you dont up-scale US troop movments in Australia because of China. All troops that have been led to this war deserve maximum respect, we brits support Oz!

  • @THEMATTBUXTON Not every single person think the same way brother. You might see one dickhead talk shit about everything, but we are not all like that. I have worked with british soldiers down in helmand, and I have nothing but respect for them. And I can only hope those guys appreciated working with us aswell. Also had some Aussies training over in california with us. And they were all cool fucking guys. There's always gonna be that one guy, that gives out a bad image. But don't hate all of us

  • @USMCMarques Hey, i'm an Australian solider from 1RAR Infantry battalion. What unit were the blokes who trained in Cali with you from?

  • @jjjackson5564 I really don't know brother. sorry

  • @USMCMarques No worries mate

  • mickyfin101, finaly somone has acknowledged this fact. its us aussies that have supported countries in wars and battles, they are bave, bold and skilled soldiers who are world renowned for mateship on the battlefield. its that that makes them who they are and why they should be respected. There should be movies about them not just the US all the time

  • /watch?v=xLXx5BcGgqk

  • @RoughWriggler pretty sure that was 7.62x51 =]

  • 0:47 "enemy down"...nice 1 boys....show those rag heads what 100 or so rounds of automatic 5.56mm x 45mm fire can do ;)

  • wow afghan civilians likes you? any poor peasant will like you if you pay them! Ask yourselves you retarded aussies, are you fighting for your country or for the U.S? and btw have you found the weapons of mass destruction yet? lolll

  • @miltonboo the only reasons why we 'retarded' aussies are over there is not and i repeat is NOT to fight the war between the US and the Taliban/Alquida it is actually to make it safe for the civilians to live their lives while the war is going on with the US troops. the only reason why they are fighting or forced to fight is because they get under fire from the insurgents. so ask your self this you fuck stick are they there to kill? or just to keep the peace?

  • aussie troops die from everything but combat lollllllll retards! the taliban is just another setup by the US! the US brought them into power and now they are at war with them? Just like the US brought Saddam in power and then they kill him? lollll you aussies are the most gullible people on this planet! The only reason countries go to war is for resources like oil and shit! stop blaming terrorism, anyone can make a bomb and blow themselves up, you don't need training to do it!

  • lol nvm they are using AUG-A3s i just didn't pay close enough attention

  • AUGA1 FTW!!! hopefully they switch to AUG-A3s cause they look alot nicer

  • Is @australbanian a fucking raghead or what if he doesn't like what he sees then he can fuck off!!

  • @3:56 You could learn from this yanks!

  • @mlawren7 What do you mean?

  • @australbanian.

Listen u faggot, our country IS built for war, stop watching Tomorrow When the War Began, and start looking at the facts. Your speaking about a country that could repel 4 invasions in over 100 years! You can suck a transvestites dick u fucking shithead!

  • I can't get into the Australian Defence force. But i will forever lye loyal to the brave work the men and women the give their lives to defend our proud nation!

  • @lilmanbrad Why can't you get in?

  • @timewarptelevision I have ceoliac disease, (gluten intolerance ) Which means I can't eat the ration packs which most contain gluten :(

  • @lilmanbrad thats a good thing theyre shit lol

  • @jiminycricket555 maybe so, but i'd defintaley love the chance </3

  • @australbanian Not you again. How many times have repeated that comment on other videos? BTW why do hate us

  • @shawnziee123abc Congratulations on being the first nation in the world to allow transvestites and dykes into your armed forces.

  • @australbanian I never knew that and how exactly do you know considering your not Australian

  • @shawnziee123abc Bred with intellect. Your army isn't structured for war. It's run by faggots and cronies.

  • @miltonboo funny cause like 90% of afgan civies like us.

  • no dingo eating babys references.....interesting

  • Lest we forget

  • @TheBenefactor2 fuck off. You're a big man typing nonsense use your real name if you're gonna talk shit. cowards strap bombs on themselves and blow up planes trains full of the Westerners who give them freedom and opportunity. Yeah the war in Afghanistan is bullshit but soldiers don't make political decisions. Australian soldiers are legends ask any Turk or German. They just dug up some diggers bones in France alongside the Poms. In Britain and America the word ANZAC inspires respect.

  • @beckkkelsmostwanted,

Please explain what exactly is cowardly about strapping a bomb to your self?

If anything surely its the pinicle of bravery.

  • @MrBloodCloty More like the pinnacle of stupidity. It's usually some poor slob who got talked into it by one of their BS operators. A far cry from these Aussies who are Professional soldiers.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheBenefactor2 You are the coward who sits behind his computer and slanders others. Get a life, and when you find it, try and not waste it sitting around writing ignorant statements. You miss spell your words and say " i am so glad i'm not an educated Fucking moron". ??? You meant to say UNEDUCATED! nevertheless proving your ignorance not only to global affairs but in simple Literature. Please do not respond, your opinions are not worth acknowledging.

  • @respekitmor

Correct. GTFO from Youtube Benefactor2 and DIAF scrub.

  • @TheBenefactor2 Your a dipshit, the Taliban kill people, the Australian Troops are actually helping a lot of Afghans by training their military to prevent future terrorism. You claim they're not educated but you use educated and dropout in the same sentence, making you point stupid and invalid. You call them cowards, I'd like to see you on the front lines getting shot at by a group of people hellbent on killing you, you'd shit yourself. I also don't see how terrorists aren't real enemies

  • The aussies have always supported the us, Britain in lots of wars, world wars, vietnam, etc, now the afghan war, they are renowned in England for being brave and class soldiers, well done lads, long live Australia , !!

  • @mickyfin101 They are renowned in the UK for being 'brave and class soldiers' because they ARE brave and class soldiers. Nothing but respect for our Australian cousins. Regards

  • Who censors swear words in combat footage?

  • now who says that aussies are not on the frount line

  • Australian troops are America's hired guns

  • @Spudzilla5656 nope we offered our support to the Americans as we have done many times before the Americans were glad and so we went over and built alot of the schools, hospitals and buildings that are maintained to this day by Australians shooting our guns is secondary.

  • @Spudzilla5656 How can you say that we been togther for years Australia USA cannada NZL Birttan we help because we have an allience with out Americas brothers you guys would not last.

  • What the heck was that @ 4:53? After the smoke clears that the right side of the screen. Was that an insurgent or what?

  • @DrVirusi how r they not terrorists. they use terror and threats to make ppl to follow them. thats terrorism.

  • @AFGHAN7GENERAL go kill urself. u r a descraceful excuse for a human.

  • when i was at kapooka the straps on my pack broke about 10 minutes after i'd assembled and filled it for my first field exercise. i really hope these guys are getting better materiel than than.

  • Our troops do a great job to bad the government doesnt give them decent webbing and other basic grear that doesnt fall apart ,they have to spend their own money replacing gear

  • i read an interview with Patreus in Afghanistan, He admitted they cant do shit there,

They dont have anywhere near enough the resources to defeat the resistence there,

This is just a waste of time and money, You ll go nowhere, You never go anywhere, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Go home and fuck ur girls, Its the best you can do, Or your boys for that matter, You are on a lost cause,

  • @rellama1 there is a marked difference between what you've said patreus (who i assume was talking in broad terms about all allied forces) said, and an admission of "defeat".

  • @xfrostovawakeningx course no general would openly admit defeat, most of the crucial work is done by obamas drones, remote control rocket launchers killing the top brass of the taliban, But they are being replaced just as fast by their rivals, Dont forget they want martyrdom, That is something we westerners would never want to attain, Do you?

  • @MADMANx511 what did u do to deserve respect? nothing,

  • there is one thing all aussie military share. Its called defeat, and humiliation,

  • @rellama1 you are a fucking piece of shit, you obviously dont know your fuckin history, or for that matter, the difference between a 'resistance' as you called it and an insurgency, an insurgency is trying to mislead public opinion for their own selfish agendas, whereis a resistance already has the support of the people against an oppressor or occupier, think before you open your mouth you fucking retard, better still, go fight for the cunts and get whats coming to you and them

  • @vitnell760 i dont fight for anyone or any president or any dirty politician ore any filthy company like BHP and whatever their names are,

  • fair play to the ausis but fuck me the accent is unbearable.

  • @humpdidyvoop Coming from an Irishman? That's rich.

  • @LewyRawr lol the big difference is people like our accent.

  • @humpdidyvoop its not an accent, its not english, what is it?

  • @ rellama 1 haha primitive bush. u stupid stupid fuk.

  • wow, judging by some comments i bet most nations you want to liberate would warmly welcome you, If it was mine i d say to you guys: f...k off and stay home in ur primitive bush land, and once you got your shit sorted out there then try again,

  • i wonder if you poor wretched have an idea that you cant even win a flower pot in Afghanistan, Your time is up, Face up to your defeat, Dont waste any more of the tax payers money, Go home and do some honest work for a change

  • @rellama1 how bout u just stick to playing call of duty or something fag, nothing but a phillipino coward

  • just watching grown up men behaving like kids, thats all, Their brains obiously didnt keep up with physical growth, I fail to see any sense in all of this, But of course, you would know right?

  • all that kit, and pinned down by medieval goat herders

  • I can't believe they censored the swearing!!!

  • shit ur pants before u say anything about our dead u fucks i mean it

  • hahahaha, how charming, why dont u get straight first?

  • CUT THOSE TALLY FUKAS DOWN BRAA

  • Ahh love hearing our accent for a change

  • @KenanVideos I heard that!

  • all of those campaigns are costing trillions, Its all from the oil industry, But at whos expense? the deepwater horizons are looming everywhere, We, the taxpayers, humans, must foot the bill for your exploits, Against our will, So that a few ppl can play their games, their expensive games, I can tell you of one country that has only 30 thousand soldiers and "150" generals, but pensions are pitifully low, and children must go to soup kitchens in the richest countries in the world, its not fair

  • its nice that youre lending the "poor" countries a hand, But who made them poor?

the so called "free world" are now feeding off the poor, After plundering their land

and resources, for glass pearls, I m not impressed sorry, And hey, the internet is open to anyone, Even if you dont like it, We are all against war and exploitation and invasions, Humanity has better things to do then that, We need to advance, But arms are taking up a big part of the budgets,

  • @toocootay The AUG is actually an F88, only cause the first AUG was made in 1988, the 88's were the solid rifles, the ones that Australian troops are issue'd today is lighter then the 88's. Not that solid but good for weight resistants. Carries the same rounds the old 88's.

  • you ppl have no business in Afghanistan or Iraq, youre just a bunch of hypocrite thieves stealing oil, no more, the world knows what ure up to, if you need to be told by 12 year olds, who have more brains, then so it be,

  • @rellama1 oi we went over there to protect the people that need protecting not to steal oil maybe thats what osama, obama* sent ur knuckle head marines over there for but no ausys w are over there cos we care

  • and you should go home and care abt your own biz

  • the taliban will wipe those aussie pigs out

  • @rellama1 i certainly wouldnt count on it

  • @rellama1 Australians are more tactical and in advance, look at our Casualties between America, no offence to any americans, they do get more of the action then we do. But we're also there to serve also. And Australian army isnt all for just war. We're mainly in on poor countries also lending a hand. So if you dont have any idea what we do, and your not from our country. Don't judge from what you see from a video. If your going to make a scene, do it outside of the Internet world.

  • @rellama1 Lol? why watch this video man show some respect you gutless prick.

  • TALIBAN RETARDS

  • YEAH LET OWN THE TALIBAN

  • good dya aussie .

small numbers all aorund them they think youve run

but yuoll skill it them there yours

  • 1:10 aussie soldiers don't need cover, what a mad kent!

  • @calisaetia He's on the slope of an embankment. Probably all that's showing is his head above ground level from where the enemy are while he fires his shots.

  • I was just being silly, just saying how tough they are... =]

  • Oi!...What?...Cover that fuckin entrance!...got it... haha so aussie, good on em.

  • Britain Has a contingent of 10,000+ troop[s in afghanistan. Australia Has a contingent of 1090 troops in Afghanistan, So the law of averages dictates that the brits will have more casualties, However they are all on the same side. unlike all the armchair generals on these boards.

  • @spinaway 1,500 in Afghanistan now. But your point remains clear.

    British Army 115,000 regulars

Australian Regular Army ~28,000 (apparently now, which is actually an increase. It was down to about 25,000 about 5 years ago I understand).

    Cheers man.

  • Cheers I stand Corrected.

  • What a lot of Childish comments on here, ha grown men arguing whos the best, grow up.

  • i love the sound of the distant machine guns

  • The British are in the thick of the fight unlike the Aussies, casualties are to be expected. You Aussies seem to blame others for your fuck ups!!! Your regular forces are not getting stuck in to the enemy in same way as other regular forces.

  • @fatalbert203 hey god dammit we are on the same side ! lighten up! god bless NATO! GOD Bless my NUTS!

  • Ever since we have thought along side the british we have lost in some way. We lost at gallopoli because of you

  • Thought or Fought!!! You thicko LOL!!!

  • Actually numbskull, the only war australia has lost is the only time you have gone to war without the British. You went into Vietnam without the brits but with the yanks and got your arses kicked. Brits weren't there to help you out. Galipolli was a failed campaign, the Brits actually suffered higher casultie rates there, but the war against the turks was finally won.

  • swey85 - In WW1 Lord Kitchener had an absolutely contemptuous attitude towards the Australian troops in particular, and to a lesser extent the New Zealand troops. he considered us to be scum and dispensable.

Then in WW2, Churchill refused to send troops to SE asia because 'fortress Singapore' would protect Australia. Churchill was pissed even when we withdrew our troops from North Africa 'just in case'.

Yeah, we love going to war with the brits...

  • I didn't say you did "love" going to war with the Brits did i. anyone who claims to "love" going to war is an idiot. all Generals in WW1 no matter what country had poor attitudes to almost anyone, dont think the ANZAC's were a special case, coz they werent. I would also suggest to you that a hell of alot of Brits died in Asia in ww2,, look at burma! also a whole british fleet was dedicated down there, try not to lay all your hang ups on the Brits, youve done well off them in the past.

  • swey85- While Britain was telling australia to fend for itself, the yanks were sending tens of thousands of troops to die at Guadalcanal. Why would they do that?

Because the Japs were building an airfield on Guadalcanal that was going to cut off the lifeline from the US to Aus. They sacrificed literally tens of thousands of men to save Australia's bacon while Britain threw up its hands and said 'fend for yourself'.

Oh and btw, Burma is on the way to INDIA, not Australia mate.

  • The canal was carried out so the US could island hop its way to Japan not specifcally to protect Aus! Nice twist tho! Britain never told Aus to "fend for itself" hence the British Fleet there. funny how you just shrug off the Brits efforts in Burma, if the Brits weren't tying up massive amounts of Jap forces in the North then they would of had no dramas goin south and crushing the Aussies. The Japs got hit by Brits in the N, Aussies in the S, Yanks in the E.

  • Yep Turks were defeated. And it was the Australian Light Horse that delivered the killing blow at Beeresheeba.

  • Thats not exactly true, the battle of Beeresheeba was a joint British and ANZAC effort that although saw the Turks defeated , the Ottaman Empire didn't surrender until the year after. So it can hardly be described as a killing blow.

  • Swey, you're a lot more educated than the average Aussie on here trust me. This comment will hit a nerve with a lot of Aussie readers, but any person can only remain ignorant if they never put down their PS2 or Wii and refuse to pick up a book and read it.

The chip on the shoulder is the result of general ignorance. I personally think it's a pathetic joke when Aussies accuse the Brits of deserting us in the Pacific. You guys had GERMANY to fight in your own back yard HELLO & couldn't do both.

  • The killer blow to the Turks was at the Battle of Megiddo (most Aussies will say "wah?"), which the Australian Light Horse played a very significant part in too.

Beersheba was finally captured by the 4th & 12th ALH Regiment, clearly it was not the killer blow, but it did break the stalemate and give the momentum needed for the rest of the Campaign which had stalled until Beersheba was captured. The Brits captured Gaza on the coast a few days later.

  • The british sent the Anzac soldiers in 1st just so the british could land safely on the other side they didnt expect the brave aussies and kiwis to put up such a fight.

  • you talk bollox! try reading a history book instead of basing your views from crap hollywood movies. The Britsh,French and Anzacs all landed on the same day, look it up, plus the Bitish suffered the most casulties during the campaign by a long way so have some respect before spouting off rubbish, eveyone who fought at Gallipolli deserves respect,no matter wether they were Brit, French or Anzac.

  • sorry mate didnt mean disrespect. Just saying the australians had one of the biggest loss of soldiers in that single day when they charged the turks than i might be wrong so dont judge but in any other single battle the Anzacs have faught in. Except i no of one that happened in veitnam.

  • Not exactly.... The Poms suffered just as greatly and were in fact the rear guard for our retreat.

  • shoot, move, communicate, and than repeat

  • the british army have trained with the US army and other armies since year dot!! When it comes to operational experience; the British Army is miles in front of the Aussies!! I am not interested in what excercise you have done, what a fuckin joke you are!!

  • Get off your high horse dude, take it easy. We all in it together and given the oportunity the diggers always have and always will give good account. Stop with dick measurements. You have the biggest- on your head.

  • LOL!! fuck off twat!!

  • Wanker. You sound like a Seppo with that attitude. Move to US and feel at home. Poms like you get smashed when you leave your shitty little island.

  • This is D-Coy 1 RAR 2006 OP SLIPPER pretty sure - To those whom have a mouthfull to say stop for a moment and think this is real footage and should be treated as such -those whom as some may not be with us today - did an outstanding job this is a slice of history thanks fellas! stusurf1

  • If the Aussies are that good then why did your 4th Field Regiment deploy as part of the United Kingdoms Task Force Helmand? Answer: to further enhance the training and experience of the Australian Armys offensive support capability.

  • F, we sent the 4th to Afganistan because they were bored sitting around with nothing to do an the British happen to man the same 105mm gun an said they could use a hand or two. The RTF soldiers in Afganistan are basic infantry an still perform to the highest standard, why compare them to 3rd Para or the RM? Why not compare them to a comparable Aus Army unit like 3 RAR Para?

  • 3 RAR lol!!! they dont even have to complete a P Coy, so in effect have not earned their wings ha ha - The Aussies do not compare to the British soldier fact, they are not getting stuck into the Taliban in the same scale as the British or Yanks, you provide a token force.

  • Fa, doesn't matter what courses you think Australian Army soldiers do or don't do, fact is compare units to units an the 3 RAR is the Australian rquivelent to the 3rd Para. The SAS an Commando operations in Afganistan are classified so you have not a clue about what they do, much the same can be said for the Brit SAS/SBS, so comparing workload is not only pathetic it is only done by retards an armchair wannabes. Australian Army is better trained an that is a fact, opertationally proven fact.

  • You need to have a closer look at the UK Airborne forces, 1,2,3,and 7 Para and the rest of the 16 Air Assault Brigade. You dont compare in the slightest, all British regular forces play their part and are fighting the fight; and I am not including the SAS, SBS, Pathfinders..the list goes on. Bye!!

  • Does 3 RAR complete a Pre Para Selection Course? No

3 RAR Earn their wings? No

    3 RAR Crap Hats? Yes

  • Fat, yes of-course the ADF take untrained Infantrymen an throw them out of aircraft at 10,000ft without instructing them on how to use a parachute. Indeed, you are an idiot...

Considering the fact that the Australian Army is majoratively air transportable light infantry we don't need to distinguish as much as the British Army does.

As for Australian Regular Forces in Afganistan, they're doing their job, an doing it well according to all those that matter.

    Regards,

    Crimson

  • I am not stating that 3 RAR are not trained to jump; my point is that they do not earn their wings the same way as the British, US, ond other Airborne units; who must complete a tough physical pre para course, which many fail to complete. Normally what happens is that if you fail the pre para course you end up in a non Airborne unit; 3 RAR do not have the same selection proces.

  • Fat, there may be a reason for that, being that both the US an Britain have different starting points in regards to pre-selection. An given the relatively poor training given to the US personel by both Australian an British standards it is of little to no suprise that many find the para-preselection tough. Second, regardless of selection trials, the US Airborne jump with 3 RAR an have never once claimed to be any better trained.

    Regards,

    Crimson

  • To volunteer for the British Parachute Regiment the recruit has to be built up for the gruelling test week P Coy; this is on top of the infantry skills that are also taught in extreme harsh conditions which if the recruit fails; he is then sent to a non airborne unit.

  • the Aussie regular forces are not in the deep end of the afghan conflict BTW. 3 RAR are not in the same league as the British Paras, or Marines and do not have the same entry standards, or operational experience where the metal meets the meat.

  • Fat, once again your ignorance is astounding. The last time a British Army unit won an excersise against the Australian Army was in the 1960's an it was once, an the commanding officers of the Australian Unit got demoted as a result. As for operational experience, 1ATFV saw more action in Vietnam than the entire British Army has since Korea combined. The level of fieldcraft taught to Australian General Infantry is more than a match for any British Infantry unit outside the SAS/SBS.
