Glasgow? Cracking! I always like it when you get to see a human statue rather than some poor old, bedraggled, Soviet-looking woman in a shawl banging out screeching tunes on an accordion. Pipers are always good and they seem to show up along the same stretches of Argyll and Buchanan street often enough, but inevitably some wanker of a policeman pulls up and stops them playing because they don't have a license to spread free joy and happiness in this bleak, recession-impacted shithole of a world.
