It's so ironic. This was taped 5 days b4 Nick was diagnosed with diabetes, what is also stranger is that it was exactly 2 months after his 13th b-day he was diagnosed. Where has the time gone. Personally, i think they sound great here, but for people who have some kind of problem with the performance or song, please keep in mind:

1. Nick wrote this song when he was 11-12, you can't expect it to be the most amazing song ever to be written.

2. Just because the chords are simple doesn't mean it's bad.

3. Nick was very sick here, 5 days later he would be hospitalized due to diabetes. He was probably feeling very tired and may have had difficulty holding notes.

Honestly, I have nothing personal against the Jonas Brothers. I'm not the type to hate something just because it's popular with the younger crowd.

But speaking with an open mind this isn't that good. The singing strays out of tune a lot, and the song itself is pretty much barre chord after barre chord... definitely don't need two guitars let alone keys. It sounds like something that I would write (and trust me, that's NOT a compliment!)

It's not an affront to rock music, but it's pretty bland.
