Also, one of the best bands ever? Not even close. There is nothing particularly special, nor revolutionary about their music. The Chain is a Fleetwood Mac classic: the layering of that song really is something special and while I appreciate that it's hard to replicate such layering live, playing simple power chords is a horrible way of attempting to do a great song justice.

This is so weird - I cover this song in one of my bands... and ever since I got the new 3DG album, I've been hearing all these old influences - this is one of them, as well as Blue Oyster Cult, E.L.O, Zeppelin, etc. AWESOME. :) Total coincidence though - I had no idea they covered this song!
