Hey Kev. you know how I feel about lighted action figures :) Too bad that light fizzed out on that saber earlier. I guess that's why so many collectors of high end figures are fearful of leaving them on. That's when I think they shine at their best. It's just something about a figure displaying their uniqueness (moving or,lighted super powers,weapons, energy,etc.), all lighted up every time I glance at them,(mine do). The retractable light saber-wow. I like this color. Great video.

Looks very nice mate. To be honest I am not surprised about the name change, it's just like Lucasfilm to worry about something stupid like that. This character is in a extended universe comic where he attacks Obi Wan on Tatooine. You certainly did a good job of smashing up the old one

I'm getting the dutch ex pf too! First day pre-order. I however like the cigar look though. :x Great review! If it weren't for the awkward legs I'd have gotten this piece. Really dynamic pose and ultra cool lightsaber.

I agree that the original name (Cyborg Darth Maul) was much better. I'm just grateful that Sideshow left the name there; it could have easily been "Darth Maul with Mechanical Legs, Longer Horns and a Snazzier Lightsaber" or similar. (Thank goodness it isn't quite that ridiculous.) LOL.

But anyway, congrats on such a great piece and thanks for the review.

Another professional review Kevin, perfectly shot in HD .You know how much i love Star wars ..hahaha . Very dynamic pose and the orange tinge to the red does go well with the black . The saber looks very realistic and the fade away feature is indeed a nice touch . shame these light up features arent programmable and powered by the mains supply .

PF Dutch looks to be the buy of 2012 for me..

@Bthackrey It can be powered up by the mains via a supplied adapter, but no, unfortunately you can't program it.

Yeah lets hope Sideshow hold the quality right through to the production units.

Nice hair cut Kevin lol almost didn't recognize you at the beginning. Although a great PF I'm not into the EU star wars stuff as it just can go on and on and on (darth talon is a good one too) Dutch had caught my eye but I'm still thinking about it but you know what this means a pred PF is on it's way :-)
