@travis17360 Thanks, it's a Kodak Playsport.. That's crazy it picked it up that well.. it didn't record my other video quite as well.. but the car was also in the garage (maybe the tighter spl area) and the camera battery was almost dead.. but I'll get a new video up later next month and we'll see then. The cameria is also water proof which may have helped filter out initial air/spl.

i wouldn't have my power wire out the car like that, could get pinched easily... run it through your firewall grommet bro

@SAfreak93 trust me, I know.. :( it's a Chrysler thooough... their firewalls (entire engine bay) are an intense mess I got frutrated when I installed it and never got back around to it, I'm relying on the the seal to cushion it until I find a spot in firewall. Got any tips? lol. I've had the whole dash off before.. :/

@Ian400ex1 drill a hole.. i know i've helped people do that before, and if your real anal you can get a rubber grommet and put it in the spot or put a little electrical around the metal so it doesn't cut into the wire insulation. I hope you have that power wire fused? Not being a smart ass, just saying I've seen to many people not fuse their power wire lol

@SAfreak93 i agree, the only way i put wire thru a firewall is with a grommet, less chance of the bare metal rubbing the wire coating off.

I decided to get the sound ordnance gear, got my order placed today, i'm still figuring out what to do for my 6.5s i'm thinkin of the alpine or jl audio ones on crutchfield in the 100-200 dollar range. how are you finding those RF 6.5's?

@piccgeta I really like the Rockford Primes, the main reason I went with all Primes is for the tweeters (3-way). I honestly don't have them turned up that much at the amp because they are rated pretty low in RMS and my amp is 4x75, I'll get nutty one day & do it. As for Alpine and JL... well you can't go wrong with either.. I think if money wasn't an option I'd have Kappas myself. Hope you put videos up when you decide and make sure you amp your coaxials, you're headunit can't power them fully!

@Ian400ex1 Yeah I haven't decided yet, I almost got a alpune HU just because of the alpine power pack you can add to juice up your speakers but I scored a pretty decent deal on a kenwood unit. I don't know if i'll go that rich for the 6.5's I got to get two pairs for my ride if i do. Could just take a slightly lower end speaker and use the HU's 22 x 4 rms. I don't want to go over board I know this car is gone in two years.

@piccgeta I really like my friend's Kenwood, good stuff. Mines pretty insane for a basic headunit, so clear with insane options and REAL ipod support + usb/aux/sat. The Primes are actually a "low end" speaker according to most believe it or not, and is one of the most reviewed, I have a video of them in action if you haven't seen; cheaper than a lot of options also. As for the RMS, you'll run them just fine, trust me (the video I mentioned was before subs/amps).. but you won't taste 100%.

@Ian400ex1 I've seen it lol. When i was younger I use to compete locally here, I had a sick setup and spent a fortune. Promised myself I would never go at it again, but my factory HU's aux is dying so I'm using that as an excuse to do this. Have you heard any of the sound ordnance speakers in action, I've never actually seen them, and there a steal from crutchfield which is tempting also

I kinda wish I knew myself what they were like! the rest of their stuff is pretty decent so I can imagine they'd be nice as well; over the summer I got ALL my SO stuff while it was on sale... talk about stealing... :) I want an L7 15 or two later down the road... I'll have to find some lame ass excuse for that too haha.

@Ian400ex1 I got the 150 watt Rockford Prime amp to go with my Rockford Prime 6x9 speakers. The speakers are 60 watts rms and the amp puts out 50 watts per channel and it puts out some damn good sound. My dubstep blaring friends love it! I also have Rockford Prime 6 inch speakers in my doors, a Pioneer deck (which I regret because it has crappy RCA grounds), and an MTX Blue Thunder box with 3 ten inch speakers that will be powered by a 750 watt kicker when I have the cash.

@MBP6705 That's pretty sweet! After I get a few things installed (remote start/interior lights) I'll put up a new video. I have all my Rockford Primes amp'd on a 4 channel (75 each) now. I'm always getting asked to play dubstep in my car because I have all frequencies, but I would rather play something Decaf (his channels here somewhere) made. Those three 10's should sound mean. I want to get two fifteens (L7s) if I can swing this full-time job... :)

I have a dark green Honda Accord. I'm looking at getting it painted black and that white pin stripe type deal like the 04 Impala SS's have. That and some new alloy wheels. I love upgrading my car. :)

@Ian400ex1 They're where I'm looking at my lights too. I'm going to post a video once I get my Kicker amp, which should be once I get paid this week, and then another paycheck in two weeks. I'll get it up though.

I also have a tiny old (like mid 90s old) alpine amp that I'm thinking of hooking up to my door speakers. It puts out 30 watts rms per channel, whereas my stereo puts out 21-22 rms per channel. Think its worth it for me to install it? The speakers are 40 watts rms.

@piccgeta It's different for each set-up; and why would I have a really nice looking set up and not wanna show it off from inside with LEDs? I can already nose dive my mirror; so even if you are 100% correct, I'm not that big of a bass-head. :p I have all my coaxials amp'd now also so I'll get a new video up real soon!
