  • my guess is this is a skeleton of a murdous dragon so it was stabbed saw many times and zant pissed it off and the dragon that link did it

    make sense

  • 0:19 You got the Stallord!

Me: Yeah! What what the? OH SHIT!

  • @Zeldatribute101 ha XD i thought the exact same thing

  • my favorite part is right at the beginning

    0:01

  • Why do people say this is volvagia? It looks nothing like a serpent

  • @jmscheiderer Have you seen its legs? Does it even have any? The head looks exactly the same!

  • @Lava2093 I honestly think it looks like Onox's dragon form from Oracle of Seasons more than anything. Okay, maybe the horns are off, but besides that they look similar.

  • I love the music that plays when it comes time to use the sword on him too! <3 def one of my fav. boss battles, love the spinner! good temple too ^_^

  • This was one of my favorite boss battles, I loved using the spinner <3 ^_^

  • What was a dinosaur-esque skeleton doing in an old prison anyway?

  • @812gingerable that's the creepy thing about it....

  • @812gingerable He was probably the executioner for rowdy prisoners or those who were sentenced to death. Just ate them right quick or played with them until they were killed if he wasn't hungry. That would explain all the stalfos around him.

  • @DudeManGuy1223 Hmm, actually a fairly credible explanation.

  • i keep thinking of when goku vs meta cooler before and after he turned ssj

  • Guys... I think we're beginning to know what happened to Volvagia...

  • THUS PART WAS SO FUCKIN HARD, LIKE THE ZOMBIES

    WERE LIKE FEAWFWAWAA

    and you were like OMG!1

and they were like FWAEFWAEFWAFAEW I WANT YOUR BABIES!!

and then i was like ...." DIE MOTHA FUCKAHS"

  • @Smuled ....kill yourself.

  • @ericmarshall19 agreed

  • @Smuled ...yea what the other guy said

  • @Smuled How to replace adjectives by undescribable sounds. Go back to school so you can learn civilised language.

  • Stallord is not Volgavia.

    1- Stallord is much larger

2- Stallord has 5 fingers (Volgavia has 3)

3- Volgavia is defeated on Death Mountain, while Stallord is found in Gerudo desert. However they may be from the same spiece.

  • @niktamrps3 yeah but you have to remind that volvagia was a monster created by ganondorf in gerudo and that twilight princess is in the child timeline, so ganondorf was arrested before he could do anything, so volvagia was left in gerudo in that chamber and died from starvation

  • @TheLarres You're right on this, but I don't think Volvagia and Stallord are the SAME monster. They may be from the same spiece. I think the physical differences are too big to accept that he is Volvagia. Still that's my personal opinion... Nintendo didn't tell the true story about Stallord so we'll never be a 100% sure.

  • Guys also note on this in the OoT child timeline Volvagia is a fossil because he isn't revived and is still bones so in TLP he could have been used as Stallord, you can see in the Adult timeline that Volvagia is revived.

  • And we only get to see the top half of this monster. I can't imagine what it was like when it was alive... Now that would be a sweet-ass boss.

  • This dude was a hard one, REALLY HARD FOR ME!!! plus i loved the music when you hit him with the spinner and then he falls on the floor from the air :3 lol

  • One of the best boss battles in Zelda history. :D

  • thumb up for (i hate it) betblade

  • 2:20 sword time!

  • Why do they put that at the end of every boss, its epic, but i'm curious.

  • Stallord = Volvagia before death.

  • @Gamexpertvids Thats what I saw it as. And they played the same music in OoT for Volvagia

  • @Gamexpertvids Don't you mean "after" death?

  • @Stephen7217 Yep :P

  • @Gamexpertvids .___________. stallord no es volvagia tienen caracteristicas muy diferentes ademas volvagia esta en el dead mountain y stallor en el arbiter grounds son cosas muy distintas

  • @Gamexpertvids I have to completly disagree. First off, Volvalgia does not have ANY horns, except ones on it's mask. even then, there is just one pair of them. Also, it's hands are considerably lower than Stallords.

  • @Gamexpertvids Stallord is neither Volvagia (Stallord is much bigger, has more Horns and has a humanoid build) nore King Dodongo (Head has totally different shape, and so on...)

Stallord may be like Captain Keeta an oversized Stalkid (or -fos)^^

  • ... you know I kinda wish i had something of a Stallord pet... *not the cursed form of it but still the undead form without the brittle bones*

  • @DekrosnaArcana Yup me too! but full bodt and smaller... I'd name it Skellington and have it in the same room with me while I played TP <3 IMAGINATION IS COOOL.

  • @LugiawolfXx indeed it is...

  • I know there's that theory that Stallord is the remains of King D. or Volvagia, but honestly it's larger than both and in a different portion of Hyrule. And the time span between Ocarina and Twilight is too small for anything to fossilize.

  • @MegaAstroFan18 Yeah, arent the games only like one or 2 games apart?

  • @LegspreaderZombie Well the time that passed between Ocarina and Twilight is probably about a hundred and fifty years or so (I don't buy Nintendo's 'a couple decades' thing for multiple reasons). A lot of time, but not enough for something as large as a dinosaur or dragon to fossilize.

  • @MegaAstroFan18 I dont think stallord was fossilised; otherwise the hair near the neck would have gone. so i think its a skeleton.

  • @mediaprobe Twilit Fossil

  • @MegaAstroFan18 those noobs only said that because their battle musics are the same

  • *sees spike in head...*

    I THOUGHT I IMPRISONED YOU 3 TIMES!!

  • @RotomRules64 Rofl

  • I believe I already said it, but apparently people don't understand. That's not King Dodongo's theme, it's Volvagia's. Thumbs this up so people will stop being ignorant.

  • @ShinyEspeons Indeed.

  • @ShinyEspeons Not to be rude, but don't King Dodongo and Volvagia have the same theme?

  • @HyliasDemise64 Yup! They both have teh same exact theme. xD IDK why it became Volvagia's theme specifically to the Zelda fan community. There's a chance the song itself is called Volvagia's Theme and it was simply used for King Dodongo out of laziness. I always thought the song was meant as a Fire Boss Theme with no specific owner, but I dont feel like looking around for info. IDK why people would call others "ignorant" for calling it also referring it as KD's theme.

  • @Gvuz Yeah the two fire bosses share a theme. Don't think there's a reason for it, could be a hold over from the Beta. Might have originally thought of giving each boss their own music (and ones that shared a kid counterpart would share music), then decided to scrap the idea and have the other bosses use the same music.

  • @HyliasDemise64 By jove, you're right! I never noticed that... (although I believe Stallord is supposed to represent Volvagia). My apologies.

  • i love this boss fight, but its not my fav. i like the usic when you get to just hack at him.

  • When I first started fighting him I was like "WTF?! He's HUGE!"

Then i knocked him down to size and was like- "That's it? Really?"

Then the King Dodongo music started up and I was like "Hey! I know this song!"

  • Am I the only one who thinks he might be like a Frankenstein, but made of bones? He has clawed hands, an oddly human ribcage, a dragon-beast head...

  • @mmazingace Victor Frankenstein's creature/monster you mean, right?

  • Holy shit , King dodongo has come bak 2 get revenge on me for rammin bombs down his throat in Dodongos cavern!!!

  • GOD I love this game! I don't care how old it is, this is as good as Fantasy gets. Stallord drove me kinda crazy but he was worth it to see what happened next.

  • 3 2 1 LET IT RIP!

  • the best boss theme I heard from this game

  • VOLVAGIA HEAD + KING DODONGO BODY= STALLORD

  • I like to think that the Stallord is King Dodongos skeleton :)

  • @PTcruiser92lol O_O holy shit thats actualy a possibility

  • Comment removed

  • sounds like some boss music that came from pokemon xd and coloseum

  • mother freaker was scary XD I dont get scared by bosses easily but this one was difficult for me, and morpheel too when I first fought them >,<

  • one of my fav bosses.. strange how I strongly dislike the dungeon <<

  • so THIS is the boss im going up against in the sand temple? two words: oh and crap

  • @lsls01master don't worry, just hit his spine multiple times and the rest is easy.

  • i was running late to school one time, this song was playing in my head while i was getting dressed

  • in my opinion this was the best boss in the game (Argork is disapointing) specially for the theme when you fight the head, it brings me memorys of ocarina of time :D

  • volvagia is a skinny thing and this is a huge fuckn giant,if this is the male and the female looks like volagia, its either the male has a small dick or volagia is a virgin dragon!

  • @Saberwulf1423 Dude, you have a sick mind. :I

  • @sageofdragons12 thank you,its nice to know!

  • @Saberwulf1423 It's not Volvagia, it's King Dodongo.

  • @PootisPootisPootis everyone says volvagia(dragon),king dodongo is different

  • I keep trying to imagine what it would be like to fight stallord when he was still alive... I look at those dead soldiers that are around him... I picture him with flesh and full power... I remind my self that everything from his waist down is burried... holy. shit. THAT THING IS HUGE! AND SCARY... HE IS PROBABLY TOUGHER THAN GANON. NO. FUCKIN. THANKS.

  • Zants Dead hamster

  • When I fought Stallord in TP, I didn't care about the whole "Volvagia = Stallord" shumuck.

But look at Stallord's FOREHEAD! Arrows! When I fought Volvagia, I shot him in the HEAD with ARROWS! Holy CRAP! I got to kick his a** TWICE! :D

  • volvagia is back

  • When I first walked into the room and saw the Stallord skull, it was easy to figure out what i was going against.

But what is with those swords in its head?

  • this is the 2nd funnyest boss in this game. The first is diababa.

  • Am i the only one who thought that this fight was hard.....because of those FUCKING ZOMBIES who always stood in my way D:<

  • Stallord is the best boss in this game and also has the best theme. Next to Blizzeta, of course.

  • bonechill and stallord both easy

  • Boss 4 Stallord.

  • The Thunder Dragon didn't have horns or a "furry" back neck. Volvagia had both of these. Also, the fire boss theme is playing in the background.

The size factor is a problem, though

  • @shoyru18 i could be the the dark dragon from oracle of seasons! They look very similar

  • @shoyru18 Volvagia's giant uncle?

  • Comment removed

  • Could it be the Thunder Dragon, Lanayru? I mean he's certainly big enough...

  • @gillnavisingh skyward sword took place BEFORE this, so it could be...

  • @gillnavisingh It could be Lanayru or Volvagia, or maybe just an entirely unrelated creature.

  • shit man, though the bosses were easy, they still felt epic and fun

  • Stallord is such a FUN boss. And the Ocarina of Time-esque music during the second phase only adds to the awesome factor.

  • Link: This will be as easy as pie! (brings out spinner and goes straight to the middle)

Link: Alright! (Spinner slows down right next to Stallord)

  • I remember this boss so well, cause it took me forever to find out his weakness, and even longer to defeat him after that.

  • I think this is Volvagia brought back to life in an undead form, and maybe mixed up with another huge creatures arms.

  • I'm gonna have to fight thi guy??? FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

  • @NintendoMaster098

That and the fact that Volvagia had tiny little arms. This guy's arms are huge.

  • LET'S BEYBLADE!

  • @proballa27 THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I THOUGHT.

  • @proballa27 LET IT RIIIP!!!

  • @proballa27 Let it rip!

  • Volvogia only has one set of horns though

  • You all do know this is Volvogia's Stalform...right?

  • @tymeron You know it cant be right.Volvagia only has one set of horns, and Stallord has a thick upper body. Volvagia is a dragon so he has a snake like body all the same width. And lastly why would he be in the Gerudo Desert?

  • @Bretton823 Yeah, you're right. But that would be pretty awesome...

  • Favorite Music and Favorite Boss WIN WIN!!

  • he really looks like volvagia ? perhaps a relative...

  • I guess you could say that he's related to a DEAD-DONGO! HAHAHA....Yeah..that wasent funny...T.T

  • that dragon must've dies hard. he has 2 swords in his skill and one broken rib

  • Hardest boss for me, I didnt understand that I had to hit the spin -.- thank god my 12 year old cousin was there to tell me what to do XD

  • @MrSupermariovilonce1 It's The Attack Theme When You Have The Chance To Attack It

  • If Alduin could revive this guy...

  • @Tonypikmin ZOMG now I'm excited thinking about it! If enemies anywhere near as powerful as Zelda bosses were in Elder Scrolls that would be just so effing epic trying to overcome something so impossible with pure strategy and limited power.

  • @Tonypikmin zant did it by stabbin' it in the face with a devil sword

  • @Tonypikmin Good lord. We'd be soooooooooooo dead?!?!?!

  • @Tonypikmin too powerfull for alduin xd

  • VOLVAGIA. HE'S BACK.

  • @Kazumakiri Volvagia is a she

  • @Hobbit823 Whoa.

  • It was pin-ball-ish!

Also it made me think about volvagia and bossy dondorongos

  • This was the first boss I had to use a fairy

  • I thought all the other bosses were easy, but i had the most frustrating time with this one.

  • Well I have a little theory. This hyrule in twilight princess is probably an all new hyrule with a rebuilt civilization. The old hyrule is left behind. Let's look through a little bit of details. First off the temple of time is no longer in castle town market like in ocarina of time it's in the faron woods along with sacred grove (which has the same song as lost woods.) everything is all scattered probably. One more thing. The hidden village. Maybe abandoned kakariko. The old lady. possibly impa

  • @TheGamecubeAdvancers The old lady siad her name was Impaz

    So distant relative perhaps?

  • @TheGamecubeAdvancers According to the recently-released official timeline, there weren't any wars between the execution of Ganondorf and the beginning of Twilight Princess that would necessitate the rebuilding of the entire kingdom.

It's not like the Temple of Time has to be a unique location, either. It makes sense to me that after such a close call, they would have found good cause to build a new temple somewhere more secluded.

  • You know I think Abiters grounds might be the abandoned fire temple from Ocarina of time. And stallord is the remains of Volvagia. I mean they have the same theme. We all saw Volvagia turn into bones didn't we?

  • @TheGamecubeAdvancers Arbiters Grounds is probably the Spirit Temple.

  • @H00le0 Yeah but this is like an entirely new hyrule. Everything could be out of place. I could be wrong but who knows.

  • @TheGamecubeAdvancers Well, both Arbiters Grounds and the Spirit Temple are in a desert (with the word Gerudo in the name) while the Goron Mines and the Fire Temple and both in Death Mountain.

  • @TheGamecubeAdvancers

....... King Dodongo also turned into bones at the end IIRC.

  • @RATPT0I No he only died in the lava. Plus why would Kind Dodongo be in a temple?

  • 1:29 King Dodongo's and Volvagia's Theme :D

  • This is at a tie with "Midna's Lament" in Twilight Princess.

  • I KNEW IT!!! Ever since I played OoT 3DS and had a chance to listen to the fire boss music (because Volvagia took forever) I felt the songs were similar, and I was right.

  • @angus7021

    king dodongo ;)

  • The most fun with a Zelda boss I have ever had.

  • @heyjamesky The most fun to defeat boss to me was Koloktos the 5th boss(I think) of Skyward Sword

  • @heyjamesky I spent a literal 1 hour purposely failing on his first form just to listen to the theme.

  • @heyjamesky yes especially when you knock him down that theme says "ATTACK NOW!!!!"

  • Volvagia in his older days.. hm... no. In his dead days!

  • @WakashimazuLP the scaling is a little off there...

  • damn i wanted that sword so bad so i want alout on him and for what to watch it explode in my face and turn to a heart

  • volvagia after oot

  • That's got to be my favorite boss battle theme in LOZ Twilight Princess.

  • *Ahem* I just had a thought... I know that Stallord is definitely NOT Volvagia... But... Maybe Volvagia was a female dragon, and Stallord... Is the male. Or maybe the other way around, considering females of a species are usually more aggressive. Either way, I think this thing has SOME kind of relation to Volvagia somehow.

  • 2:20 Link's badass moment!!!!

  • crossbow training doesnt count as a zelda to me

  • This is probably one of the most fun bosses in Zelda history. Sure, he's easy, but it's fun as hell to kick his ass. Crossbow Training, not so much.... ._.

  • Twighlight princes version: Easies undead boss ever

    Link's crossbow training: FUUUUUUU-

  • @IAMSILVERHORN

    Easy, but very cool!

  • you know I don't care what anyone says that thing looks NOTHING like volvagia, volvagai is like a snake with stubby arms. that is more like a frikin demon bull I can agree that it looks like King dodongo. is this seriously what happens when Nintendo puts a boss theme from a previous game for another boss ok that automatically makes it a skeleton of that previous boss. I don;t get why people have to start these HUGE theorys about bosses with similarities as minor as its boss music sheesh.

  • DUN DUN DUN DAHHHHHHHH you get to fight this guy :D

  • Sorry for another coment... But, 1:45 is a remix for volvagia theme :D

  • It's just me or... did the dead volvagia stole a chest?

  • I just wish Zelda games had a boss-replay feature cuz this battle was AWESOME!

  • i lways wait till 00:11 to do my evil laugh.

  • How scary would this lok with flesh on those bones?

  • Volvagia in his dead days >LOL<

  • @DarkBowserX9 LOL

  • Comment removed

  • I wonder what Stallord looked like with skin.... O.O

  • @silverfairy808 Try Volvagia :)

  • @KikeEntertainment Nice observation, I have a feeling Rayquaza was modelled after Volvagia as well.

  • @KikeEntertainment ^^; lol I really didn't think that through~ But Volvagia only has 2 horns, Stallord has 4. But still~

  • SPINNING SPINNING SPINNING, EVERYTHING IS SPINNING

  • @asparagusoffice TWIRLING TWIRLING TWIRLING, EVERYTHING IS TWIRLING

  • Love this boss!
