technically none of them are clear cut winners, gm has technological advantage but as char once said it isn't always the pilot in the better suit that wins.
it would have come down to terrain and skill to determine the real winner and that would always be different each time
yeah...but my zaku wasn't cooperating with me, so I was only able to work with still footage mostly...last part with the zaku was actually taken from the internet.
not to mention even the original gm's specs surpassed the zaku 2's. although the pilots own skills are a contributing factor. the zeons had better pilots, the federation had better mobile suits. you were apsolutely right about the gm kai though, and that would more than make up for a pilots lack of skill
@SpecialAgentRavage actually the Kai only has .6 greater G's but makes a 180 degree turn in the same time as a standard GM (1.6 seconds), virtually identical in performance to a regular GM with a slight hiccup of increased performace...The Kai was an upgrade of the GM precession type and boasts great improvement over that design..the placement of it's four main thrusters makes it a little more stable opposed to the two main thrusters of a regular GM..
@SpecialAgentRavage Skill, luck, tactics, can overtake any mobile suit even a gundam..performance can be compensated over with a little ingenuity..a superior suit doesn't automatically equal win..
true, but none the less, the gm kai was superior to the standard gm, being based more on the gm precession type as you said. The gm kais were too expensive to produce during the one year war, although there were some produced. with the economical after effects of the one year war, as with any war, the gm kais could be more heavily produced, hence why in gundam 0083, the federation uses gm kais, and no longer the standard gm
@SpecialAgentRavage The GM kai was barely better then the standard GM (a smidge better acceleration, and better thruster placement)...the GM precession type (a space warfare precursor to the regular GM) was inferior to a standard GM which the kai was based on..
@SpecialAgentRavage Actually the Kai began mass production in 0079, and phased out a majority of regular GM's (not all) by 0083, mostly due to popularity, slightly better acceleration, and aesthetics
@SpecialAgentRavage What? who's arguing I'm debating.. it's superior but barely (I initially said "A slight hiccup better" so I'm not contradicting myself) so little though that it's barely worth mentioning..my point is that you had initially made it out to be a way bigger dynamo than the regular GM but it's pretty close to being equal with it..so it wouldn't effect the Zaku to GM fight really..
thanks man, i spent a pretty long time on it in after effects. yours looks great as well, you did a impressive job with creating a believable space and enviroment.

Nice job man. I especially like the lens flares, very slick. Too bad about the "Getty Images" water mark though, tee hee.

It's very good, but come on, the Zaku should win.

dude, that was an rgm-79C, all it's specs waay surpass that of a zaku. The zaku is like 4 year older, no way it can win >_>
nice effects and good framerate

so now you are saying that the kai is in fact a superior model? if we are both on the same page now, we should probably quit arguing

although really if you think about it, "debate" is just a fancy word for "civilized arguement"

@SpecialAgentRavage It's only an argument civilized or otherwise if someone got angry....I'm not angry :D
