@FloppyCat1990 If you have a modded Wii, you can download a program for it that can rip your game discs to a file on a flash drive, which you can use to emulate on the PC.
@brickman409 I would be surprised if they didn't. They're already doing stuff like OoT3D and those 3D classics on the 3DS. Heck, they even made gamecube rereleases on the Wii (with wiimote controls), one of those include the Metroid Prime Trilogy.
It has a pretty sharp quality I give you that. But Metroid Prime and Metroid 2 Echoes for the Gamecube dont really need 1080p to look good, you could have a pretty decent lcd TV and the digital HDTV video component signal (rgb cable) and it would suck ass as well
@gammypage The first part of the video has an FMV background, and that doesn't scale very well since it's bitmanp. Also, you might be seeing some compression artifacts.
im not sure but is my graphics card bad?..i can play at 60fps when its at a main menu but when i actually play it goes to around a constant 20. specs: AMD Athlon 64 Processor TF-20 (1.6 GHz) ATI Radeon HD3200 Graphics
@brianrocks1231 Your graphics card isn't that powerful but I think it's enough for Dolphin (can't really tell because I never used it and so I don't know what it's capable of). I think the main problem you're having is your CPU.. is it even dual core? because dolphin was designed for dual core. Dolphin needs a good CPU, even my laptop's 2.2GHz Core 2 Duo can't handle dolphin.
@9a3eedi i dont think its dual core. probably the problem then. well ill just have to play at a slower speed i guess better than not being able to play at all. my laptop is fairly good though its fast and efficient i guess just not as compatable with dolphin. cuz say i were to play a game on a dif emulator like project 64, its runs smooth. but that could be cuz it doesnt have to process and much. but vga runs smooth too.
@brianrocks1231 Project64 is a Nintendo 64 emulator. Nintendo 64 is muuuuuuch easier to emulate than Gamecube, you shouldn't compare. Project64 can run on old computers just fine. Dolphin requires a fairly modern and powerful computer
@9a3eedi yeah i get what ur saying. oh well i guess. doubt ill get a newer laptop anytime soon so im stuck with what i got. but im fairly satisfied with it.
@brianrocks1231 I had an intergrated ati radeon hd 4200 and that is better than a 3200. i have a 2.80 ghz processor. But now i upgraded to a Geforce gtx 550 ti, before i couldnt play any game with the radeon. So i would suggest a hardware update :(.
Ahhhh I see what you mean. Well I guess trilogy is the closest you can get to that lol trilogy is an amazing game though I played through it on wii and it was amazing.
@correllroy it's a custom PC that I built, there is no "brand". My components are: Gigabyte Motherboard X58-UD5, Intel Core i7 920, Corsair RAM, power supply, and case. ATI Radeon 5870.
@varpppisss actually, there's no point. the gamecube/wii has such outdated graphics that it doesn't really matter what kind of graphics card you have. It's mostly about the software and the way it's programmed, and also the CPU speed.
Im quite content with the 480p this game can produce.

@9a3eedi Change your graphics card, maybe to 6850 or any of 6 series, or nVidia GTX 560 Ti, It wont slow down.

@varpppisss actually, my graphics card (ATI 5870) is more powerful than the 6850.

@9a3eedi Well, then change to GTX 560 Ti, or GTX 580! Or even GTX590.
