  • In theory, not a bad idea. The only problem is that none of TDK was shot at this point, so footage wasn't available to do that. This would only work if Nolan wanted to pull a George Lucas on Batman Begins...

  • When they flip over the card you should just faintly hear the jokers laugh in the background audio I saw this in theaters and almost pissed myself when I heard "Calling Card" I was so damn stoked

  • That would make it so much more dramatic (and a little less hectic)

  • @CousinStudios4 not really

  • @RSixBoy

    why not?

  • @CousinStudios4 Because the movie isn't supposed to be a trailer for another movie. A hook like that only works when it's in a commercial, but it would be awful for being the end of a movie. Hooks for squeals are supposed to be very subtle, which it was in the actual ending. But yes, if they had used clips from Batman Begins in the trailer for The Dark Knight, this would be a good one.

  • @APMathNerd It wasn't supposed to be a trailer, but why wouldn't the joker's faint laugh be better than a montage of what's in the next movie?

The way this was put together, it looks like it's supposed to be a trailer, not an alternate ending.

  • They have no idea how much that card will change their worlds. Great idea. I was planning on editing in a little part of the Joker's musical theme from the Dark Knight score to see how it came out.

    Nice job
