Of course it does, you don't even need to play hockey to know that an object against something which is similar colour will ALLWAYS be harder to see that something that is opposite. Like black and white. Seriously, are you retarded? Why do you think camouflage works? Because it blends in with its surroundings, so when a BLACK is behind a BLACK background of stick tape, of course it going to be harder to spot that the latter.

Black tape (at least the kind most people use) has a sticky mixture in the dye. Try using two identical sticks, one with white and one with black. I preferred the black tape just because it feels a little more cushiony. But it's all a personal preference.

Yea but keep in mind eyes are not at ice level. Black puck against white ice = visible. I used black tape because the dye is stickier and seems to stick to the puck a little easier. Sounds stupid but try it out. Big difference.

Crosby in my opinion is a great player, Yes he whines but most of the 'hot shot' players do. I'm a Buffalo sabres fan.but i think crosby has heart,and alot of it too.I mean look at him hes not even dressed and he's out there shooting the puck,hell he's not even on home ice. I commend him for that.
