Zand's pronunciation is actually right. We've just always been hearing Leta's name pronounced "Leeta."

Zand just pronounces the "e" in Leta differently:

Zand uses "e" as in "let" or "meta."

Everyone else uses "e" as in "lit" or "meet."

Zand's pronunciation is more correct. But it still sounds wrong, because we're so used to the wrong pronunciation.

Btw, the map is quite nice too. Protoss has great flanking positions against terran. Perhaps that was the reason why Leta played so safe.

Zand kept commentating on what could be happening. Like saying that jangbis storm could own etc. But at some moment he just doesnt commentate on the actual game. He keps saying some general things while a counter comes from JAngbi which forces Leta to fall back.

His voice is little boring too.

About the game: Jangbi did a rush build. It did no damage. After that he mass expanded. The terran push would be his main goal to stop. Jangbi tried that with investing in shuttles (+speed).

New commentators are judged by the (high) standards that other commentators, like Cholera or Rise, have already set. NOT by the low standards one would judge oneself.

A good commentator needs to not only be knowledgeable about the subject, which Zand101 is, but must also be able to excite and entertain the audience, which Zand101 does NOT.

- Gives accurate information about the map and the histories of the players (make it real specific and key to the match AND/OR gives statistics and identifies potentially misleading stats)

- Knows build orders well enough

- Reads the game well and points out key maneuvers in and outside of battle

- Knows when to be calm and when to heighten the energy level (*coughKlazart*)

Zand, though your comments are easy on the ears (which I personally like very much) I think it would do well for you to sneak in a little more energy.

The key to great commenting relies on rushing your audience with an excellent player bio / map predictions, pushing hard with battle analysis that can relay some of the actual tension in the exciting pro battles, and then finishing your audience off with gg strategy review.
