  • ¡ Que gran musicalidad tenia Clara Schumann ! Hermosa pieza, y una bella la pianista... ¿ Quien es ?

  • sehr schön, vielen Dank!!!

  • impressive composer, impressive player :)

  • MUSIC SHOULD BE HEARD, NOT SEEN.... TOO MUCH OBVIOUS EMOTING AND MOVING WHILE PLAYING IS A DISTRACTION FOR MANY OF US.

APPARENTLY THERE IS A PRESENT SCHOOL OF THOUGHT THAT EMPHASIZES EXCESSIVE ARM MOVEMENT AS PART OF THE INTERPRETATION...

THERE IS A WONDERFUL GROUP OF SIBLINGS WHO PLAY PIANO TOGETHER....AND I WAS SO DISSAPPONTED THE FIRST TIME I SAW THEM, AT THE EXAGERATED MOVEMENTS DISPLAYED BY ALL 5....ONE OF THE GIRLS ALMOST FELL OFF THE BENCH...

  • @jmvitiermusiclover Well, then close your eyes.

  • @jmvitiermusiclover

Typing in caps is so much more annoying than a performer who moves a lot. Great performance.

  • I LOVE your musicality, LOVE your tone and everything.......the movement does not detour from the music at all, the movement is the music breathing through your whole body, not just your fingers.......I can't help but move either, it's a natural part of music! It's inside of us all!

  • Im Jahresvergleich sehr gut spielen, ist es sehr gut zu spielen, weil Sie tun es ohne Anstrengung und mit großer Sensibilität, Ich mag es sehr!

  • sounds wonderful, but it's easier to only hear you play. seeing you makes me nervous, to be honest....

  • Wonderful performances

  • Beautiful piece composed by a beautiful and talented lady, and played also by a beautiful and talented lady. :)

  • My dear commenters below., Schumann never tried to reduce Clara to a housewife. He did everything to encourage her to compose. He also accepted her vocation as a concert pianist. I think this came first for her, before composition and she had internal inhibitions because she thought "women can't compose." Fanny Mendelssohn was the one who was forced to be a housewife by her family.

  • I love it. All the emotion you can give... Thank you.I will saw all your videos : )

  • You play with good skills and great authority!

    Congratulations ...5 stars!

  • I enjoyed that very much! Isn't that main theme familiar from some place? It's a great shame that Clara became discouraged and stopped composing. Robert didn't help by trying to turn her into a good little housewife. And couldn't Brahms have done more to draw her out? Well, you are helping to keep her memory and her music alive. Thank you very much.

  • it's true rob and brahms were assholes that wanted to keep this great talent beneath them. they would be too embarrassed if she got better than them since she was already a much better and more famous pianist than they would ever be.

  • Much too harsh a judgment.. Robert, while often wanting her to be his little hausfrau, was at the same time proud of her musical talent and helped her with her composing. Brahms came on the scene after she stopped trying to compose. Both recognized her superiority as a performer. Brahms consulted her on almost everything he wrote. But Schumann and Brahms were immensely gifted as composers from their earliest efforts - geniuses. She might have developed into a fine composer, but not their equal.

  • Beautifully played! I've read a lot about the genius of Clara (Wieck) Schumann, and now I can listen to why this is so. Thank you for sharing.
