@whmeeske I plugged in a standard 1/4" instrument cable into the headphone jack and plugged the other end into the amp. If you used a stereo cable you could get both channels.
This is the piano I want to buy very soon, its here 200€ more or less, your play very good, for play like you I will need some years I guess, but its my childhood-dream to play piano and now im 25 but doesnt matter, Im looking foward very much, I think after all I checked and read this is the best digital piano for price-quality relation... and 76 keys are more than enaugh for me, very helpfull video, thanks for uploading it!!
I am getting the Yamaha NP31 76-Key Portable Grand Digital Piano, is it just a newer version of this and will it be the same? I'm a beginner and im getting it for christmas
@Altmp Yes - I would recommend this for a beginner. The keys are not as stiff as a real piano and it has 76 keys vs 88 for a real piano, but for the price it should be fine. It's also very light weight, so you can easily store it or move it in just about any car. I've taken it to some events because it's much easier to carry than my Motif ES8.
I'm looking for a keyboard to be able to play from the music of The Doors and Bob Dylan to Beethoven and Bach. Do you think this piano would be good for me to get?
@maggottron333 The keyboard action is somewhere between non-weighted like an organ and a fully weighted like a Motif. If you are used to a regular piano for classical, you probably won't like the feel.
is this weighted or non weighted? im trying to decide between this or an m audio prokeys sono. i found a refurb for the same price as this . I like the look of the prokeys, but its not weights, so if this is, thats more of a winner.
Just to see if my interpretation is right: Was this filmed on analog tape in a camera? Or tape at least? - Oh and thanks for demoing the keys, of course.
GREAT demo! Can't wait to get my hands on this thing :)

Hi,
Do the keys feel like the ones on a piano, like weighted and touch sensitive?
MrTeeBee303 1 month ago
Sounds very nice! How did you connect the Roland amp to the NP-30? It has only a headphones output.

it's not weighted like a Motif is. But it has more resistance to it than an non-weighted keyboard like an old Roland D-50.

CEWAbenteuern 5 months ago
@CEWAbenteuern The song ending around 4:05 is a rhythm snippet of King of Majesty by Hillsong.
