My grandfather was born in Bardizag in 1906 and I see some relatives in these photos. I would like to contact you to ask more questions, please. Please contact me on YouTube mail about it. Thank you so much for posting these wonderful photos.
very good work... I am also descendant of Bardizag Armenians... I collect and read everything I find about Bardizag. Obviously you have a very rich archive. Keep up the good work!

Until 1915, Bardizag was an all Armenian town, with its own college. My grandfather was born there. He along with the entire 10,000 population of the town were deported in 1915. No more than 1000 survived. My grandfather lost his sister. My grandfather's brother bribed some Arab beduins with some gold he had sawn into his clothes (which were not stolen by the turks and kurds) to get them from the Syrian desert to Amman, Jordan.
My dear friend Gazanutyun, I see that you are an Armenian and you might be right about your claims but what you should not be doing is to look at the past in anger.
i live in bahcecik.this is a old armenian village.i had seeing old armenian people in bahcecik when i am a child.but they died.but his descendans not coming here.we wait for them.we are muslims and we are hospitable people.i call you.you can answer to my message here.
Dowserman, you should try to find out what happened to the Armenian of Bardizag... Find out why the "hospitable" and "muslim" turks killed the whole town...
When you find out, tell me. My family is still trying to find out after 93 years.
