i have to say--this is an unfair ranking--if you were in africa, you wouldn't be worried about a polar bear or a funnel web spider (as those are indigenous to australia).

The funnel web spider are everyhwere and produces a toxic venom that could kill you. They occur a lot of times than sharks.
