When I hear singers that had tonsils removed, I sort of compared them to the great Bing Crosby; I believe he had his removed or something related to the throat.
I've done a few things, gotten interest from a major label and a couple of reputable highly respected producers and managers. I'm still working on what I'm going to do. Someone new and famous just expressed their interest and I'm looking forward to what will come of that.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping to put out some great original music as soon as possible. I can't say yes till I'm sure this is who I want to work with. I could be working with them for years.
Oh, and they had told me to pull the mic back because during rehearsal their mic couldn't take my loudness. But then I think during the broadcast it sounded too far away. Oh well.
what's tonsilitis? i had my tonsils taken out, but it didn't affect my singing that much, mostly my snoring in sleep! ha ha. and my breathing. i GUESS i sing better, but no one can really tell. great job! i love alicia songs! you go girl! keep it up!
It's when your tonsils are so swollen they look like golf balls in your throat and they can touch each other and the air passes out of your throat through a hole about the size of a dime or a straw hole or the size of a quarter if you are lucky. Makes your voice sound raspy and it's painful. gives you a really deep voice too.
Jessica had tonsilitis on that day and she was really sad because she thought she couldn't do it. You can tell by the sound of her voice when she was talking and her first notes. But then she belted it out anyway. She had her tonsils removed about a month later. Yes your voice changes after the tonsils are removed. In her case it allowed her to pass more air when she sings now. I'll try to post another video soon of a more recent performance of her singing If I Ain't Got You.
