Same engine however the ECU mapping is different the result of which makes it rather different to drive with. Hence why the C4 180 produces better HP figures than the 206 GTI.

Just changing the airbox for a decent intake like the GSR can gain you a fair chunk of HP and torque. Due to how restrictive the standard system is. Mine pulled 170hp to begin with (supposed to be 174) now putting out 191 with only changing the air intake and altering the engine mapping. So nothing major.
