  • Look, if you (readers) want to target shoot get a Ruger Mark 2 or 3. If you need a good small belly pistol get the B. . . 22A long rifle. Why would anyone put cheap rounds into a defensive weapon? Yes, the CCI Stinger gets it done. HPs expand a little on impact to the correct "material." Have the second mag ready. Remember to load the barrel round first so you do not risk a jam. Do it and it does it. Kicked . . - nice job again. stonenstrop

  • I'd use CCI Mini Mag 40 grain FMJ's for defense. It has a better chance of tumbling causing the channel wound to be a bit larger....

  • silent hill soundtrack.. very nice!

  • Damn you make some great video reviews. You obviously put a lot of work into them.

  • I think I'm going to get this gun as my first pistol, and self defense.

  • Great review. Good music, too.

  • Would like your opinion. I purchased this weapon in .25 acp which, as you know, is center fire. I've heard that .22rim fire Beretta 21's tend to foul and FTF as well as FTE after long periods at the range. Would this be true of the center fire .25 as well? I don't get to shoot much and I'm sure your experience far exceeds mine; so, I thank you in advance for your response.

  • can you help em mine wont allow me to insert a mag

  • I used to have a jamming problem with this pistol until I switched to CCI Stingers, now no more misfires, yep you're right, needs a heavier .22lr load to cycle the action. Really like it. Also, smoothed out the bottom of the slide where it interfaces with the top of the hammer, and that helped, too.

  • never had any trouble keeping a 4 to 5 inch group at 25 yrds with this gun using the rem golden bullets..alot of people crap on little guns,, but when it's 100 degrees out and you have a ccw permit..it's better than nothing, and honestly, after shooting some into ballistic gel..check out the aquila 60 gr sss bullet...i wouldn't want to get hit by one..

  • I watched part 1 and 2 ...... Best vid I think on here for this gun! I already have plans to check out beretta 21a so this really helped me out!

  • What's with the soothing presentation music? It sounds like something you'd here in a high-end automobile dealership!

  • @sycotik11 Again...wtf?

  • @sycotik11 WTF?

  • I have commented on how great of a review this is before and just wanted to share a few new opinions on this piece. Many say that carrying around a 22 lr pistol is ineffective against attackers. I conceal carry this pistol everyday using the CCI Stingers (Thanks to this video) and practice head shots at 7 yards when at the range. Using this pistol like this is effective and deadly, but for body shots its worthless. This also has an advantage over the keltecs etc because of...

  • CONTINUED...it's safety that allows for the cocked and locked and its transfer from double to single action. With the poor sights that come on most mouse guns, that single action trigger makes a world of difference. After shooting a keltec and bobcat side by side, the difference is clear that the beretta is much more accurate. Now some of that is due to caliber difference but the double action on the keltecs rugers etc may cause problems. However to each his own and this is just my opinion.

  • @MrGOPERA Body shots are not worthless.

  • @MrGOPERA are you saying if i shot you with a .22 in the chest you still can hurt me ???

  • @RoyalAlba1 I am saying if it didn't go through my chest plate or didnt hit my lungs or heart then yeah i could still be coming at you.

  • how much would the current ones go for with the blue finish?

  • Great vid. What ammo would you recommend in the 25? Thanks.

  • donkeyman,

looking forward to a review on the m&p 9mm. Thanks

  • Gracias por este video. Es de lo más completo.

    Un saludo.

  • if you're using this as a defensive gun- you really should use 60 gr aquila sss...there are no hollow points that will reliable expand out of this short barrel ..period..i've shot this pistol into gel alot - and no hollow points don't expand...sss round tumbles though...

  • Did you polish the chamber or anything to increase reliability of this weapon?

  • Excellent review. I picked one of these up not too long ago and absolutely love it as far as the mouse guns go. EVERYBODY should have a .22lr pistol... or two, haha.

The only thing I would disagree w/ is your choice of defensive ammo. Just about any .22lr hp round you find will expand much too rapidly to really penetrate to any reasonable depth. Theyll create a larger surface wound, but wont hit vitals. RN rounds would be better for defense. I love the CCI MiniMag rn's.

  • do u get hammer bites bad with smaller guns like this 1? I thot that it was cold or thats y u were wearing gloves...lol

  • those stingers are intence

  • my grand dad has one of these in .22 short. Have you ever seen one of these?

  • Btw im totally diggin' the jack daniels pants.

  • lol thanks man

  • I just got a taurus pt22, basically the same gun in stainless with nice cherry grips.

  • @Letsmakeasamich

    except complete total shit.

  • Haha yeah your right I took it to the range about 4 times with cheap and premium ammo; non stop fail to feeds, fail to extract, stovepipes and it eats the shit out of ammo deforms the entire projectile. FORTUNATELY, I sold it for $25 more than I paid for it new and spent a little more and got a ruger lcp, so far about 50 round or so through and perfect performance.

  • Your reviews are informative and well organized. Thanks.

  • Thanks for watching

  • Good lord those stingers look like they would rip half your face off!

  • hah those stingers aren't a joke

  • i really like how your diverse on all guns not just rifles, hand guns, or shot guns. i think you did a great job with this review. i might pick up one of these. always looking forward to more reviews and vids!

  • Thanks for the support man.

  • can you shoot shotshell 22 out of a a pistol like this one

  • I'm not sure I have to try it.

  • Drive the roll pin in the slide out from the bottom. The firing pin & spring can then be removed through the rear of the slide.

  • I think the stinger wins.

  • Ive shot the one in .25, nice gun and feels good. Very loud too.

  • too bad you cant get it with gold accents like on the hammer/trigger.

  • Great video-Very helpful

  • I wish the one I had worked half as good as yours! I had so many issues with it I ended up trading it in and stepping up to a NAA Guardian! I miss that little "Bobcat" though I like how it feels in your hand compared to the Taurus PT-22. Great vid Mike!

  • Well made video! Keep up the great work, Sir.

  • When I had this gun. It was jam city even with cci stingers. sold it for $200 bucks bought myself a NAA guardian and a NAA Mini 5 shot revolver.

  • I've owned a 21A for many years, great vid.

    Thanks

  • No problem man , thanks for watching.

Hows your 21A been working out for you?

  • Another good vid!! getting better and better, really professional! Ive been watching your videos for a long time - hope to see some more new ones soon. Will check back. and seriously, thanks for being "one of the guys" and not being a dry, stiff drill sargeant reading the website pages. Easier to watch than some of the other firearms reviews on the internet and your personal experience/pros/cons are why i watch these.

    keep it up!

  • Thanks man I really appreciate it.

  • Hey kickedintheballs2000, what do you think about the Taurus PT22? I've heard this is the same gun made from the same tooling... It's about $100 cheaper with a lifetime warranty.

  • Well I did own a Taurus PT22 about 4 years ago and to tell you the truth I didn't care for it cause it liked to jam way to much , even after I tested many different types of ammo in it and the trigger is a Long hard double action only trigger which I simply did not like.

But to be fare it was a used Taurus PT22 , I also owned a PT25 which ended up jamming the same as the PT22.

( Just my opinion man )

  • I bought a used Nickel PT22 for $100. Mines eats everything I feed it. I guess I got lucky.

  • hey man be careful "limp wristing" you can accidentally shoot your self in the face!

  • Yes I know man I have done that test many , many times. I know it looks like my face is right over the fireare but its not , I'm really leaning back. This is why I do the test when on my knees , I can lean back more then say if I was standing up.

But thanks for looking out man.

  • NO offence but what a waste of money unless you like toys.Sure it may get a DOA but how many rounds unless you get one behind the ear. The Burse thunder .380 is a much better back up or carry/conceal weapon that will do the job the first time and the Deluxe has the extended handle with a 9 shot mag and praice on mine was 277$ at Buds on the internet. handles well snd 95 grain will do the job.But to each his own.

  • Great vid man!

    Five Stars!

  • Excellent , thank you for your service to the people! Please keep up your great work

  • No problem man , Thanks for watching.

  • Awesome vid as usual...really enjoy what you do...+1 on the A-Bomb intro. Think you could get your hands on a Kahr pm9? I'd love to see a review on that with a focus on defensive shooting. Thanks!

  • Well I can not review what I don't own ( Sorry man ) but I'm looking into contacting a few firearm company's and we'll see what happens

Hopefully I will be able to fill some of these firearms review request I get.

I'm working on it man , thanks for watching

  • This has got to be the best video you have made in terms of production

  • Thanks EEA , I have been enjoying watching your shooting videos also.

  • Nice, I might have to get me one of these little babbies! Nice.

  • could u go a review on the glock 23 and an ammo test for self defense purposes

  • I'll see what I can do.

  • That is a great looking little pistol, a true pocket pistol. Like the Nickel finish. And the larger or appropriate size trigger guard. Nice to see they did not skimp here and made it quite usable. Thanks for the review. Jet over and out

  • Hey, canyou tell me the song at 2:07? Btw, awesome review man!!!

  • The Tune is from the " Silent Hill Homecoming Soundtrack " & the song is called " Witchcraft ".

    Thanks for watching man.

  • Thank you so much!!! Oh, and keep up the videos!!! (btw, I loved the one on the ruger 10/22).

  • I cant understand why a channel dont give you a contract as you can touch the middle shooter with your description. You are a truly shooter with a true love about guns and shooting sports.

the thing is i can watch your videos over and over but i cant watch tv series more than 10 mins. lol :)

    Keep the good work

  • Wow for a minute there I thought I was watching QVC.

  • lol Thats not a good thing but then again QVC selling firearms?

  • Man your videos have come along way +10 I dont even like little guns like these, but it was a great vid, and, as always extremely informative! keep em comming.

  • Thanks for the support man

  • Great stuff once again man.

  • Another quality video! While this is a weapon I would never buy I appreciate the time and effort you take to make an informative video. Once again, thanks!

  • is the begining from fall out 3??????

  • lol No Not that I know of.

  • lol, did you get the intro from those Japanese gun reviews????? Nice video man!

  • lol no but now that you say that I do remember seeing those japanese overview videos some time ago.

  • Thats a kick ass opening. Although for shits and giggle id have tried remington subsonic. Glad to see the turntable is still working for you.

  • Thanks man.

  • good job this is probably the most profecional pistol review ive ever seen. a lot of work went into this. im impressed

  • Thank you very much and yes I tried to make this review alittle more professional.

    Thanks for watching

  • Great video, but I gotta say, the intro music seems more suited to a .50 BMG than a .22LR! :)

  • lol Well you know what they say " Better to have a 22LR in your back pocket , then a 45 in the truck (Or something like that).

  • man you should have ur own tv show..

  • lol Thanks man.

" Welcome to the Kickedintheballs2000 Show " Come on down lol.

  • The vids keep getting better and better man.. Great job

  • Thank you man

  • my baby that is my concealed weapon, i use remington thunder bolt and just some regular 22lr

  • Ya the thunder Bolt ammo worked better then I thought it would in this firearm.

    Thanks for watching man.

  • nice lil firearm, good vid man. I wanna see a 1911 review!!!

  • Thanks but sorry I do not own a 1911 at this time.
