  • i'm an italian partner and i had some problems like this with youtube, the only thing that i can tell you is, go to a lawyer

  • @AnimeIuver1980 yeah I didn't know who Mugglesam was until I looked her up, yeah she's a little girl, I'm sure she doesn't have the permission to use the Harry Potter Movie clips, I know alot of people can get around stuff especially when video recording clips and putting them on things, but when it's actual footage or stuff like that, I think they should have to have permission just like everyone else, I'm not hating on anyone, I just don't understand how every isn't held to the same standard.

  • nice video, but why o why are you standing in your garage? lol

  • @fayaad1997 I'm not sure what you mean...

  • Agree 100%

RWJ can't have permission from the video holders for ALL his videos because a lot of them he admits he has no idea were the original came from...so I guess thats gonna remain a mystery lol

Hope things get better for you soon m8

  • @iggy35 Thank you so much for commenting Iggy! I feel the same exact way. My videos have been flagged for using a google image found on google search that lasts 4 seconds in my video about a topic I'm talking about, and they won't allow me to have revenue on that video because they say I don't own that image or have permission to use that image, but I know these other big youtubers do the same thing, and I guess its never a prob for them because youtube is making so much money off of them. :-(

  • How does RWJ post nothing but copyrighted materials but not have any problems?

  • @KingKwon83 exactly. that's what I don't understand! Thanks for commenting!

  • @mdrproductionz Here's another example, search for 'Lady Gaga Telephone' by user PomplamooseMusic. Youtube's policy says: "We currently do not allow videos of artists singing cover songs into our partner program unless the artist has obtained full synchronization and performance rights. Cover songs are performances of songs that were previously recorded or commercially released by someone else. Read our Help Center article for more information."

    Yet they have no problems

  • @KingKwon83 Yep. thats what i'm talking about. I really find that so crazy that its that obvious yet youtube doesnt seem to acknowledge these are true facts! Thanks for commenting KingKwon for taking the time to comment.

  • @mdrproductionz I'm baffled myself. Several google searches are what led me to your video. Still can't get a clear answer!

  • @KingKwon83 I know I personally don't understand!

  • Youtube Admins can be an Annoying Joke at times like these.

  • Something tells me Youtube is run by Teens. Yo know that guy setting the examples of a tutorial to how create a youtube group? He sounded like he was only 20.

  • @mac19971 Thanks for your comment mac ;-)

  • @mdrproductionz No Prob Bro, already subscribed man : )

  • @mac19971 thanks man, I most def appreciate the support.

  • @mdrproductionz No Problem, Easy Peasie.

  • Can you stll be a partner and not get ad revenue. I mean like if i wanna use songs that are on itunes and some videos have 'copyright' music on them will i be automatically be rejected for partnership or can i be accepted and just choose not to get any revenue, would just like to have a banner tbh.

  • @BlacksmithCinema , it's my understanding that you won't be able to gain revenue from music you do not have permission to use. If you aren't gaining revenue on those videos, youtube can decided to put ad's on the video that does contain copyrighted music (you wouldn't gain revenue from this), and they will still allow the music to be used in the video and it would also put a itunes link under the video showing the copyright holders info. you decide what vids are going to give you ad revenue.

  • @BlacksmithCinema and whichever ones you decide to gain ad revenue from they would have to contain no copyrighted anything without written permission from the copyright holder. ;-)

  • @mdrproductionz thanks.

But I wont be automatically rejected if I have some music copyrighted will I?

Do I have to delete them before I apply or something?

  • @BlacksmithCinema the only way it would effect you is if you have any bad marks for copyright or anything like that. but if your not gaining revenue from it, it shouldn't effect your partnership app. but its youtube's final determination if they don't grant partnership based on that content. enjoy! and good luck!

  • The best thing to do is use music that is Royalty free and listed under Incompetech Because youtube knows that site well and is easier to enable ads faster. What you can do is contact us and we will give you a list of emails you can complain about this besides partner support. Many staff will be willing to help if you come at them the right way. It's true youtube does think higher of bigger partners It really sucks that they are messing with you. Good luck. -LATV

  • dude thats so unfair man, id be super irritated too

  • it does seem like youtube focuses more on their more popular youtubers and forgets everyone else. There should be a more open communication between partners and youtube. i cant really say or do much more because i dont really know the rules or anything about partnership but they really do need to be open to everyone not just a select few. :] you have my support regardless not that it makes much of a difference but i hope soon they get their shit together its not fair to great youtubers liek you

  • Dude, i want to send you a message.. i can help

  • It'll get better Matt, they'll all be dead soon. lol

  • That is dumb. Completely idiotic affair

  • Also, next thing you know, they'll be flagging this video because you used the bleep sound and the color-bars picture (which you didn't create originally)... *rolls eyes*

  • Unfair completely.

  • Youtube used to be good, the concept is good.

The concept of everybody being able to submit videos and all that, cool.

But youtube is fucking it up so bad with all the ads and problems that come with ads, it's fucking crazy.

  • that is completely unfair

  • Is it just me or is youtube slowly but surely becoming a dictatorship? (if it already hasn't...)

And I agree, this is all totally unfair. And me, being a Let's Player, really do not like this. My videos could be flagged just because of the background music, which is utter BS. I just hope it never happens to me, as I'd hate to be penalized for something as trivial as that...

  • send this to youtube mate? its a good point

  • i have adblock on :)

  • They are getting very strict with partners period. Especially with the copyright bs.

  • I'm a partner too

There are two ways around this.

    1) Don't use music?

    2) Don't puts ads on the videos you put music in..

...but i understand what you're saying....WTCC can make a music video and youtube will keep it up. Then we get liberty free music in the background and youtube removes it...

"It's a hard enough life, for us"

  • This is extremely unfair.

  • You're right, though, The "big" YouTubers are allowed to slide on everything, yet we get interrogated over every little thing, even things we legitimately can use. Plus we get denied many other perks as well. It's not fair. YouTube used to be fun. I know it's a buinsess and they want to make money, but they should at least treat everyone fairly. Lots of us have been here since the beginning but just get forgotten.

  • YouTube is retarded - enough said.
