  • Jeff Buckley don't make covers...Jeff Buckley turns music better ;)

  • he was truly a breath of fresh air

  • Wow - that was amazing

  • Why doesn't the stupid video work in my playlist?

  • love this :P

  • my heart soars whenever i hear his voice!!!!!!

  • i thought this was a cover?

  • This is definately my new 'dancing around the kichen with purple stripey socks on' song :):):)xxxx Bless ya Jeff x

  • can anyone name one terrible artist to die prematurely in the last 50 years? Bon jovi, beyonce, little Wayne, Nickleback...will all live to be a hundred years old and so many pure talents are gone forever. Death must have a cruel sense of humor.

  • I'm so glad england started doing Jeff Buckley for GCSE music, your music will live on!<3

  • @amelialennon Thumbs up this guy's comment as it is some of the best news you will ever hear about Jeff Buckley posthumously.

It means English kids are studying Buckley, for any Americans out there.

  • this is such a great song. its very different rhythmically from his other material. it is a lot like what popular alt/indie bands use.

Jeff did the past, present, and future!!

  • please upload all his songs from the two albums if u can

  • I cant help from lookin' outside for a guaranteeeeee!!

  • two people something

  • if he only knew how his art moves people....

  • Dear Jeff Buckley... necrophilia just sayin

  • p.s. Pun intended.

  • JB was everything a great artist is.

    Happy.Sad. Jubilant. Mad.

  • If y'all ever get a chance,,

    go to Memphis

Go to 91 Rembert & dream brother

  • all good things come to an end. some sooner than later

    rip

  • I read I think in dream brother, that for "everybody here wants you" he did that leave the studio for 15 minutes trick and have the extra song needed for the album. Probably my fav on sketches, but that's ya know just me.

  • I just recently read the biography for JEff Buckley, it's called Mystery White Boy Blues. Jeff's life was so captivating, and when he died, you feel dumbstruck. RIP Jeff Buckley, one of the greatest musicians of our time., if not the greatest.

  • TheHSFT sadly my friend sadly and I have to be honest and admit sometimes I agree with you. Jeff was so real like almost to real to be believed he was so talented, so honest, curagious and brave.....fuck!

  • i loooooove this song.

  • he was a genious but they publicize only fuck pop music

  • He was rock buddy, hope you know that.

  • But us with souls know true angelic music like this - let the retarded listen to 50 cent and crap like that - we are lucky enough to know real music!

  • He was too good a human being to die an old bedridden man...even though no one would have a qualm if he had..

  • there is no beauty left in this world...a parade of 5 cent whores every night...cheap past-times to fill the gaping chasm between people...sleep and work...drugs to ease the pain you naturally feel...we are fallen.

i miss you jeff. you were the last thing i knew to tell me i wasn't alone in this world.

  • @TheHSFT fuckin hell your depressing.

  • @shotgunshawzy well i was depressed when i wrote that. wtf do you want from me?

  • he was god

  • I want to call this one of my favorites on Sketches, but as all Jeff Buckley fans know, you can only have a favorite until you remember another. I think this, then I think New Years' Prayer, then The Sky Is a Landfill, Nightmares By the Sea, Everybody Here Wants You... Ah!

After all that, I have to kick myself for not remembering the pure ambient beauty of You and I.

Finally, the list of my top three from this album comes to Morning Theft, Vancouver, and Opened Once.

    Wait, shit!

  • anodne, great rant... so true.

  • hahaha i know exactly what you mean, which one do you choose!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

jeffs albums are the only ones i can listen to right through without skipping tracks!!!!

  • @Anodne The Sky is a Landfill yum:)

  • @Anodne the same as i :') he means a lot to me..

  • @Anodne Well said, I love being among fellow Jeff Buckley lovers everyone just gets it lol ^_^

  • @Anodne

Couldn't have said it better myself! You took the words right out of my mouth! :D

  • @Anodne very well put...yep ...mine too...joy to you my friend!!

  • @Anodne

    Yard of Blonde Girls! :D

  • @Anodne "... but as all Jeff Buckley fans know, you can only have a favorite until you remember another." So true.

  • Fuckin love this !!! Jeff was an unbelievable artist.

  • When I first heard this song, I was mesmorised by an "unusual" melodic change in a guitar part. I think that's why this is one of my favourite tracks off "My Sweethheart the Drunk". I still listen out for those partiulcar sections. Great song.

  • Still no one touch Jeff. If Thom Yorke felt like giving up - and became so inspired after seeing him live....

  • I love this! It's cathchy and very different from the style we know for him!

  • not really, he always siad that he wanted to take a new direction with every album he didnt want just one sound.

  • I dont fucking care if none of you agree with me by the way.

    It's my opinion.

  • But I do like the song.

  • i know its your opinion, but I think this album has less of the record companies influence. Grace would have been more like that tbh. If you want to hear just jeff suggest Sin-é album. But in a way i kind of agree with you, because he died a month before he went into the studio again to get the sound HE wanted. But anyway lol, in my opinion, this is rawer and had less of the record companies say than grace... now that i typed this, i want to delete it. but i dont want to make it all a waste LOL

  • I agree! It's been 12 years and I'm still not over it!

  • @wttgi the time seems like it doesn't matter, when it hear his voice it all comes back and I'm right there again after the first time I heard grace.

  • best singer ever

  • indeed

  • The end.. "I can't help from looking outside from a guarentee".. Then the Oooooohh.. Fills me with goosebumps

  • One of my faves by him. So catchy.

  • This song sounds very beatles influenced.

  • definatley...even a little monkeys maybe ;)

  • @liamm5687 Totally.

  • awesome!!

  • kless

  • one of my favourite on sketches

  • rad song
