They do show Snuffy and Slimey on Sesame Street from time to time these days. Unfortunately, they don't really have Barkley on the set anymore, and I really love Barkley.

This skit is from the 1984-1985 Season, believe it or not. But they reran it for quite a while. In fact you can tell this is from a mid 90's episode, because right before it starts it shows that Alphabet Garden thing that premired during that time. Since they didn't actually mention Snuffy being Big Bird's imaginary friend in this one, they could get away with reusing it after 1985.

I have to agree. I like the original version much better than the one they played recently. As for the famous 'Snuffy' music. I haven't heard that of late. It would be nice to see more clips of that.

That was playing this morning. I glimpsed at it. The one where Richard Kind (at least I think that's who it was) attached balloons to Snuffy and used magic to send him into the sky. The song wasn't performed as well as it is here, and boy has Snuffy's voice changed. But visually, it was rather well done.
