I haven't played any Mana Saga yet. I downloaded a midi-pack a few years ago, included SoM dark star. When i heard that, I was like "...wow. Great soundtrack! Again..." xD no, there was a good composer behind it.

Oh btw, you might also wanna check Seiken Densetsu 3 (Secret of mana 2).

The dungeons are a tad more simplistic but the combat has been improved.

The story is also quite good.

Maybe nothing, but one some site Ito was listed as composer. I'll remove him.

To your other comment: I have arranged many songs of this game using only the original SPC files. My aim is not to change a song, but to arrange it so that it sounds smooth and natural, but still quite close to the original. [and create piano sheets if it's worth the efford], but not to pimp a song ["Remix" might be a wrong phrase...].

However, I was recommended to spread this specific song, so I did.
