@Radmadmike Mike, i assume that is your name. Metal isn't what it was. When death metal or heavy metal came to the scene it was new, exciting, & fun. Now all you have to do is learn a single metal song to have the basics of each metal song in this day and age. This is the reason why i ask most drummer to learn out side of the box bands. For example August Burns Red. He does phenomenal Cymbal work, off time break downs, & synchronizes drums with guitars. Most metal drummers can't do any of that.

Its been dying since it got popular if you could even say it was ever popular. ever song is an obnoxiously repetitive and sounds close to the same. A few bands have real talent and arnt blast beats with low vocals. Take august burns red. I'd like to see this kid play and of his drum parts. Seeing that its all off beats, amazing cymbal work.

@TheKylendawson lol, actually my friend does listen to August Burns Red and do play some of their songs for fun. He used to listen to all that old Death Metal or Metal bands back in high school. We're just more open to music now.

@TheKylendawson august burns red stuff is easy for me, but blast beats are hard as hell. it just depends on what you like to focus on. ones not "harder" than the other for everybody.

No, I think it's more around 200 (more towards 200 than towards 250 for sure).

And if he plays it just like the real drum part of the song, then he only must be able to play 100 bpm with his feet.

no its not dude, i recently talked to their new touring drummer, he said all the songs are basically 250 bpm. Plus if you try to play 200 bpm to the song its way to slow. I'm just telling you what it is, not what i think it is.
