@QuiquePR rotoraies are good to run rich in order to preserve all the apex and side seals. They also run hot and the extra fuel helps with cooling.

Although those fuel charts make it possible to tune engine to run much better on every situation, I hate the work tuning it.

It takes just so much time and effort.

With good ol' twin carburators, you just pick suitable emulsion tube and make corrections to jets. Afterall I have always got neatly running car with one tenth of the work that mapped injection requires.

I did manage to find on a website that lada had some sort of sublicensing from mazda and one of the twin rotor lada engines has exactly the same housing displacement as the 13b.

sounds just fine to me. rotarys tend to have that inconsistant idle. i could be wrong though.

stock rotary with stock carb is one of the smoothest running combustion engines at idle. This is a street ported with draft carbs. Idles suffers for more hp. Could be wrong but my 12A is all stock and smooth as silk on idle.

thats the good thing bout rotaries no matter how ported they are the always feel smooth right through the rev range(not at idle with a full cut bridge,j,or pp) campared to a piston engine were as you have to balance and blue print for the same effect

@saxmanchiro well Yes and no, it is really not ideling evenly because of the free flow exhaust not giving it enough back pressure, as soon as it revvs up the back pressure increases smoothing it out

It so easy to make the fuel map , that every one can do it. But the ignition timming in the rotary is the big pain in the head. And they don't show that
