@1337huntard A couple million years, Optimus Primal is a Maximal Cybertronian (the "descendants" of the Autobots) who took up the name Optimus when when he joined the ranks of the primes/convoys. According to the Beast Wars comics the only Autobot still functional from Generation one is Grimlock, so the original Optimus Prime is long dead in the era that the Beast Wars Charactes originally hail from.

After receiving the spark, Primal is way weaker. He keeps getting gunned down in one shot by enemies due to his huge size. At least Megatron gets stronger when he becomes dragon mode.

Yes, after the great wars of the Autobots Vs Decepticons. The Autobots designed more smaller and energy efficient transformers. One's that weren't that large and didn't need a large amount of energon to function.

This was the Transformers I grew up with, I saw it since the beginning and loved it, I've seen many clips of the others before the first Transformers (Gun Megatron) and the movie, g-1, I saw a few episodes of Armada and loved it, but the latest one that makes them look like toys, just pisses me off.

You have everything correct except point #2. Megatron actually stole the golden disks and escaped from Cybertron. Optimus Primal and his team were only a bunch of researchers out on a fact finding mission. They were dispatched to stop Megatron but both ships were caught in a time warp and they were sent to Pre historic earth.

nope. The only shows in the original universe are Generation 1 (obviously), Generation 2, maybe a few others inbetween, Beast Wars, and Beast Machines. So far Beast Machines is the final show chronologically in the original universe.

When you think about it, the story does not make sense a bit, because Optimus who get his head blown away, has the body of a truck, when the ship that we see now has crash landed on earth in the era of dinosaur. Reminber the cartoon, when teletron had to scan a truck to built Optimus. But still to see the both Optimus watching each other PRICELESS!!!

i think someone said that was an error or something and couldnt think of what to put as a substitute body yet but I think some transformers have different skeletons which is why they have different robot modes and why if someone else took a truck form they would look like an optimus clone

Actually, if you check the G1 series you will see that Optimus has that body since the beginning of the war with the Decepticons - just like all of the Transformers aboard the Arc when it crushed on Earth.
