hi youtube! a long while back i remember seeing an INCREDIBLE downhill biking vid where two guys dropped in and had like a 4-6 minute ride going nearly 60 mph i'd say. it was very narrow and steep, and i believe it was in South America, not sure. They also passed a whole bunch of people on the way down. It was a fucking awesome vid, but i haven't been able to find it, if anyone does, could they please let me know?

I doubt the average person would want to go out a purchase a decent quality video camera. They cost SO much, and unless you're truly into video making, then there's no point.

Plus, on top of that, YouTube tends to mess with the quality of videos when you upload them. Giving them that annoying pixelated crappy image.

They're working on fixing it though which is cool because they now have the option of high quality or normal.

It's the responsibility of the Youtube user to compress their videos as they see fit. You can put an uncompressed video on here if you want, but it takes forever to load. So if the video looks crappy, its the fault of the person that uploaded it. And you don't need a fancy camera, just a basic digital video camera.
