Heaps better than the movie version. In the movie he is singing all happy when in fact it's a sad song. Never heard a bad version of this La Paloma song. I just love this Elvis one.

The extra songs at the end were put in the version of the show broadcast in the US several months after the live broadcast. The US didn't get the show live... and I don't think it has ever been broadcast in England. It certainly wasn't during his lifetime. The live show was broadcast in primetime to 27 countries in the Asian timezones (including Australia and New Zealand)

I think they considered using this in some promotional stuff for the satellite broadcast. He did this in one take, as is evident here. What most people don't know is that E had a 102 temperature and performed multiple concerts in Hawaii to give plenty of song choices for the landmark television event. This song, a perfect performance, is after the concert while E was fighting a fever.
