Wow, now I feel old. I was 16 when I played this game. The intro beat would pop in my head, every once in a while. I don't miss the graphics, but this game was memorable.

This game is the shit, I used to play it all the time back in the day, its a classic. This game inspired other similar god-games like Sim City. I love the opening music, never forgot it, good to hear it again...

@liviu811 U still playing it? Look outside, its 2010 allready! Caesar IV is out and much more great games are out.

Offcourse graphic is not the main thing but first Caesar is like a dinosaur.

@DefXtreme Caesar IV is just graphically improved (at least it seems), so why can't you keep playing C3 ? It's quite turning abandonware (well, actually it is, but not officially...) and so cool !

@Niavy64 The reason I prefer Caesar 4 over Caesar 3 is because C3 has this annoying habit of making houses evolve and devolve. In order to get high levels or prosperity, you need to very skilled at it. I am not playing the game to gain skill. Just to have fun. I played C3 until the penultimate mission, and it got very tedious.

C4 on the other hand, lets build cities without the frustration. So I guess it depends on what you are looking for.
