i have a Intel (R) 4 CPU 3.20 GHz 3.20 GHz-- Ram 4.00 gb and a nvidea 250 OT g- card.... and when i play i have HORRIBLE lag when theres to many units on the feild... the minimum requirements where met but i still lag at all LOW settings! :( what do i do people.... *cry*

@Shaloth Your CPU is seriously holding you back. The Pentium 4 line was not very good. You'll want at least a Core 2 Duo.

@shirgit That MIGHT be a bit of a stretch, unfortunately. You could probably run it on high, but not ultra.

red should have gone for multiple colosus and carefuly place them behing the protos attack towers.

however i do admire the facet that he managed to stay in the game out numbered for a while... I'm a little disappointed that he doesn't know the troops and their best use.

I mean I didn't get a key but did watched a lot of internet videos about the game, it's a shame unexperienced players like some are givven the chance to play and others not. As I was saying, immortalthat against M&m's

I think banelings should have thier acid fluid thingies colored in sync with your own color so it doesn't get confusing when two or more zerg players play together. (so for example red zerg will have banelings with red fluid)

If you read this and think its a good idea try to spread the word so beta players can tell blizzard about this problem

you just need to tech slower in 2v2. focus on macro so you can support your teammate. tech only for detection and air defense at the beginning, and transition to higher tech only if need be

Protoss are crap.

Creature cost is too expensive opposed to the cheap swarms of zerg and terran... can very easily beat out a protoss player via attrition by constant swarm attacks so they can only focus on defence

Their units are far more powerful, so a good micro player balances out the swarm thing you are talking about. Watch starcraft 1 bisu vs savior sometime in 2009 or this year you will see what I am talking about. in short they are more expensive cause they are better

I was a protoss player in SC1.. but in this replay he got even fewer zealots compared to zerglings or marines than in SC1.

Can a terran team member pick up your protoss units using the medic evac shuttle? Is there that sort of inter gameplay between teams?

I have to agree with ionjo, none of the videos I've seen in youtube show any type of skill at all. I understand the game isn't even out yet and people have to adjust to the units but come on. RTS games have been out for well over 10 years.

Also, second video I've seen where a single dark templar held off an entire army. Have none of these people who got into the beta ever play for the first starcraft?? How can you not have observers??

The Galaxy Editor(map editor) will be in the beta at some point, just not in this early phase.

Seems like you could have used the Colossus' a little more effectively if you didn't have it in the front line, or even having it overlook the High Ground to begin with, to be some free shots in.

That being said, I doubt I could have kept my head facing a 2v1 situation like that lol.

One question, sorry if it's a stupid one. Can you set your Dark Templar to Hold Position at your choke, this making an invisible wall if they do not have a detector? Or can they push them away?
