  • Was Ramana Maharashi a nother Buddah of his time?

  • un gran hombre , un fenomeno , un sabio , un genio , la verdadera eternidad !!!!

    suerte !!!!

  • I think it was a week or two ago that I uploaded the whole documentary "The Sage of Arunachala" with official permission. I invite you all to come and see.

  • Pure bliss...love in the purest form !!

  • Love ♥ Gratitude

  • dsfiugqefbvuhcbfuweucu Being contains within itself ,bliss ecstasy ,love infinity reality God Man ,woman...Peace .....Being is within you ,it is the self, christ, buddha krsna shiva brahman atman.Feel your inner body ...It is the doorway into Being,For I am already dead.

  • eiurg4hegeurbuib Now is the original and only state of life ,time is what most humans are trapped in human ,time, pain are synomynous ,the Master is NOT HUMAN HE/SHE IS A VAST BEING ,BEING NOW ,THATS ALL....

  • "The temples, idols, and rituals are only needed for those fools who need external things to encourage them to turn inwards. "

Good ! You have shown your true colors. I think you are a Muslim ( your name says so)and a radical, thats why you think all other religions are foolish. We Hindus always agree to disagree, especially with fools like you.

  • Raj--the very fact that you identify yrself as an Hindu with a common trait--does'nt that put you in the same platform as Amir: the believe and thinking is the same-except applied to different areas.?? This kind of UNITY only DISUNITES!!!--goes for any '..ISM'

  • Not at all !

I say "I am wearing a red shirt and I accept that you are free to wear the green shirt you are wearing."

That guy says "I wear a green shirt which is the best, all those who don't wear the same shirt are none but fools"

There is a vast difference between my ism and his ism here.

  • yea but its all about intention anyway

  • As far as the religious references is concerned, that is pure nonsense, that to simply think of the mountain is set oneself in the direction towards liberation. On the contrary, mind itself is a phenomenon which needs to be transcended, and unless one engages in personal transformation of consciousness, no thought, belief, dogma, religion, or creed is going to be of any value.

  • Have you visited Thiruvannamalai even once ?

First go there and see the mountain once.

Then you will need to revisit your comments above.

  • It may be a beautiful place, but this does not set it aside as being blessed by the divine any more than anything else in existence.

Enlightenment is available to oneself, if one is willing, at any place and at any time. One need not go up a mountain in order to attain it, one only needs to turn inward.

As a matter of fact, the mountain is an absolute disgrace to spirituality. Because most people who will go there will only do so out of their own psychological greed for enlightenment.

  • First visit the place and speak.

Enlightenment is available to oneself, if one is willing. Again, if one is willing. The temples, idols and rituals etc are starting helpers in making oneself willing. For example, you cannot teach a primary school student that a electron is both form and formless wave. He will run away. First you have to draw electron as a sphere on the board and slowly lead him to the understanding that electron is both a matter and a wave. The same with spirituality.

  • The temples, idols, and rituals are only needed for those fools who need external things to encourage them to turn inwards. And most of the time, these things do not help one's evolution of consciousness. On the contrary, the more attachments one has to rituals & belief systems, is at the same time the more rigid and inflexible one becomes. Because of one's attachment to a certain idea or practice, those very things become the obstacles.

  • Enlightenment is very simple. Too simple. And that is the whole problem. It's simplicity is it's own problem. Because you are a complicated being, and as a complicated being one has devised a whole range of methods and devices which would otherwise not be required at all.

It is because you have lost touch with your own naturalness that such things have come into being. To be natural requires no effort at all, and any effort to be natural is bound to result in conflict.

  • Ramana Maharshi guided Fools.Unfortunate that some perverts who are TOTALLY out of sync with NATURE choose to call him misguided. Such misguided fools are just venting out their frustration or it is that they are exhibiting their IMMATURITY

  • Ramana Maharshi, a great soul,a boon to humanity, guided to the right track, many fools, who today out of gratitude, are rendering selfless service. It would be helpful to mankind if people stop targetting such spiritual posts for vandalism and graffitti

  • Ramana maharishi was a great sage.. its your choice to show respect or disrespect to anybody.. But would say if you really dont know much then stop putting up such cheap messages..

  • You are basing your conclusion not on an objective analysis of the state of consciousness he possessed, but on your assumptions of what he represents which is perhaps a threat to what it is which you have come to consider as Truth.

If Ramana was a misguided fool, then surely, he is then no different from the whole humanity, which consists almost exlusively of misguided fools.

  • Hey Amir, interesting how you announce that MIND itself is something that needs to be transcended--and in the same breath talking about 'objective abalysis'. Just wonedring--your responses on enlightenment--are they based on 'objective analysis' of books/sermons attended or a PERSONALISED Experience? If it's personalised experience--then the last thing you would give credit to is the concept 'objective analysis'

  • No, most of my understanding has nothing to do with books. I have read many books, and studied many things, and the more one knows an discovers is at the same time the more one realizes one's own ignorance. Accumulation of information from the outside world in any form is not capable of providing true insight and liberation.

  • @Amirmourad Yet at the same time if you achieve liberation without successfully intellectualizing it you will constantly fall out of the state of liberation back into samsara. Thats tough man its like falling in love with a beautiful woman and having her give you the finger and walk away from you. And having that happen over and over and over with no understanding of why. So believe me when I say the integration of consciousness and intellect is necessary.

  • The experience of enlightenment is not a logical phenomenon. Not a logical phenomenon, because it is the experience of the elimination of duality. All existence is experienced as One. The basis of logic is based upon the comparison of one thing to another, which is dual perception. If this dual perception is eliminated, then there is nothing to define the experience, there is only pure experience itself.

After the experience, hence one has to deal with the problem of it's interpretation.

  • When interpreting what the hell has just happened, one will find that nothing is capable of containing it within the limited dimensions of language. But yet, if one is to transfer this knowledge, one needs some kind of logical framework which is at the same time capable of capturing the objective principles which has made the experience possible.

When I have said "objective analysis"", it means not a development of a philosophy or a theory, but the development of a method, a technology.

  • This will require the use of the mind in order to transfer the knowledge. If spiritual technology is to be transferred, it is pointless doing so in a language which is illogical & non-sensical. The technology itself, is absolutely rational because it is scientific. The experience as the result of its application -- is a different story.

The mind should be used to transfer the knowledge and formulate the technology.

Mind is not an obstacle when using it has become optional.

  • Charlie,your question is a good one.

The logical mind is a tool, like the computer.

    It has a purpose,& is necessary.But it

has limitations, like the computer. Most western people have taken the logical

racinating mind,as the ultimate guide and often become so identified with it,that they

think,it is their identity, the ego!

If you meditate, especially meditating without

thought, you will realize that there is another information gathering part of the mind. (will continue if interested).

  • @fntime.

Hahaha, yeah the Ego, that is so f-up. But I am madly bound to my Ego.

I just realized that I refuse to share knowledge here, in search of pride.

I have a thesis which I thought I would post here but I will not. I wish to earn something more with it than simply sharing it.

    Am I a bad person?

  • Even though it's not necessary to travel there, even knowing that, I would still love to experience it one day.

  • well all though you are correct if you are not a sage it may be very very important to go and feed the seed of liberation. and well wait for the causes and conditions. I to would like to go but here in america India has come to us in a way with TIbetans and in a way Yogananda and yogananda has walked every inch of Mt washington. THere i am sure you can feel obth of these great masters it India ias out of the way hit up S. California it real nice one blood one heart

  • I imagine, when the times comes, I will be drawn to a place of power, if that's what I need to get me over to the other side, of my TRUE SELF!

  • I wanted to see all these in person but now I am lucky enought o see all in this video at least.

Greetings from the director of Abide As The Self.

    Bert Salzman

  • amazing video. Thanks for the post

  • Very good and audible clipping. Thanks so much!

  • Thank you for posting this. The mere sight of Ramana inspires grace and true devotion.

  • Gods grace can surely be experienced when one stays close to arunachalla. There is a timeless atmosphere there. It is a wonderful place to be, anyone who brings a bit of openness will profit from having darshan from arunachalla. Thank you for putting up this good video-clip.

  • do you live there?

  • I live in germany, but I once stayed there for 2 months . It will blow your mind, believe me. Not only will you get darshan from arunachalla, but also Tiruvannamalai is a nice place to be, with Ramana Ashram etc. c.u.

  • so why don't you live there all your life?

  • what a nice dream the place is enough and no real training is needed!

  • It's so weird to see such a vidéo, about something essential, on U Tube, which is usually full of so much superficial stuff!

  • simply overwhelming..om shanti shanti shanti...
