I don't think its worth the price of an IMAX movie. There is very little footage and it doesn't make good use of the 3D effects.

went and saw it tonight on a HUGE IMAX screen. what a let down. its about 40 minutes of scientific equipment being set up, very little in the way of impressive footage and hardly any 3D about it at all. to be honest i've seen better stuff on utube shot with phones. i like sean and his tank but the movie really lame.

This movie was really disappointing. Mostly footage of people standing around and waiting for something to happen. It's about 50min long and there is maybe 10min of actual storm footage. I paid $10 bucks to see it in Cincy's Omnimax theater and I wouldn't pay anymore. How did the producers screw this up ?! There was much potential to make an awesome film and they blew it !

you have no idea what he is like, you don't know him, but you sure as hell like to call names and act like 3 year olds out of pure jealousy!

HE came up with the TIV, NOT whatsisname who steals ideas.

@mousiez Thank you for saying that. Sean Casey is one of the greatest and nicest guys you will ever meet. Just meet him like three weeks ago . The move was awesome. Reed is the one who wines and complains a lot( note if you are a true storm chasers fan) and Reed never asked about if he could make his own version of the TIV.

@Kinnickfan I believe when it comes to storm chasing and actual footage Reed Timmer is much better. I've seen more videos from him being closer to tornadoes than anyone else. I wish Reed could put together a movie because he is wreckless. If he does, he doesnt need to speek or you would only hear him screaming "BACK UP!" or " GOGOGO!" throughout the entire film. Although I would love to see Tornado Alley, too bad there isn't a showing near me.

Ok REED - it's your turn!!!! Show us some REAL awesome footage in your own movie! I'd bet money that your's would be much more exciting than what whiny Casey did. Before he finally hit this one head on you hit 10 - so I know you're footage is better. Find a director - find the moola - get going!!!!! IMAX was wrong to go with who they did when anyone who follows chasers knows the DOMINATOR dominates over the tiv!

this movie is ok. just watched it in the Omniverse in the Hague. though what I didn't like was that when he's in the tornado, he just cuts it and goes to the aftermath. so you can't see how the tornado moves away.

i saw this movie in the dome theater at liberty science center you might get dizzy what with all the cars moving and the tornados spinning. also it looks like you;re getting hit with hail when you see it coming down in the movie.
