  • I feel like a kid again, watching these 50s, 60s and 70s Japanese Monster Movie Trailers, and brings back the memories of staying up late on Saturday Nights to watch them on Creature Features...them were the days.

  • Why do people keep on thinking that guns can kill giant monsters? Maybe if they focused less on shooting the monsters and more on not getting eaten, they wont get eaten.

  • I can remember seeing this as part of a double feature with Godzilla vs the Smog Monster when I was 8 yrs old

  • Horror novel see video book trailer

  • An irresistible terrorizing monster. This trailer is bas ass.

  • This looks absolutely awesome!

  • Who the hell wants to watch Gezora? Godzilla FTW!

  • Awesome movie trailer

  • These unholy monsters have absolutely no respect whatsoever for mankind, or even G.I Joe-kind (See 0:37)! Run!

  • i like these monsters lol they are awesome

  • this the worst movie ever

  • @kingjulieniscute Only the U.S. version RIGHT?

  • @TheXenomorph1 Dude. You have to admit, Yog sounds awesome whenever he speaks in this trailer. "YOU ARE POWERLESS AGAINST ME ..."

  • @YumRelish I remember this trailer as a kid in the 70's. I never forgot "You are powerless against me." Awesome. Who needs CGI? These monsters have soul!

  • nothings better than good old suit-animation ... ^^

  • I have to see this one where can I find it?

  • It's available on DVD under its alternate title SPACE AMOEBA.

  • thanks for the info

  • @whiskeyify

A lot of Toho's movies have been getting DVD releases under their orginal titles in the case of Yog it's Space Amoeba

  • @whiskeyify VeeHD

  • OMG! My goal in life now is to see this film! Haha!

  • this movie is so cheesey that i cant help but love it!

  • Awesome.

  • ganime is really a lot like Ebirah. he sounds almost exactly alike.

  • @CharmieKid That doesn't seem a surprise... seeing since they were both made by Toho. lol

  • Gezora's one of my favorite kaiju.

  • These monsters must have very slow metabolisms--otherwise what do they eat to get so large? They'd consume every plant and animal on the small island nation of Japan.

  • Well they were originally normal animals, the alien virus Yog mutated them into what they are now.

  • This was the last Toho kaiju flick for several years, wasn't it?

  • No, that was Terror Of Mechagodzilla, but it was the last non-Godzilla movie and the last one made by Toho's original special effects team.

  • shouldn´t it be yog MONSTERS from space?

  • well the monsters Gezora, Ganime and Kamoebas are all from earth, only Yog, the alien intelligence that mutated them is from space

  • yeah. And they must called from their original names: Ganime, Gezora and Kameba.

Aliens are very bored and they use earth for made monster fighting...

  • these films are so fun to watch.

  • I thought this movie was gamera for a sec! XD

  • Kameba (the giant turtle) fought & was killed by Godzilla in GODZILLA:TOKYO SOS.

  • wtf is yog

    seriously

we americans really need a good translator

godzilla movies r also have altered title

    likes

Mothra vs Godzilla became Godzilla vs The Thing

    wtf?

  • I like the name Yog, it makes for a good H.P. Lovecraft reference, whether or not it was intended by the American distributors

  • I think that was invented by the American distributor to increase its commercial potential. Personally, I like the film's original title Space Amoeba better.

  • Toho creates the best giant monster movies.

  • I saw this at 17 years of age, wired to the gills on LSD in 1971 at the Paramount Theater in Cheyenne, Wyoming. My friend Rob Spaulding and I laughed so hard we almost got thrown out of the theater. The acid made the special effects seem 3-D state-of-the-art even though it was a schlock film. You had to make your own fun in that backward high plains town, and did we ever!

  • This is a classic! God I love Toho films! They are the best!

  • impressive special effects!

  • I do like this one, but they used godzilla music in the trailer :P

  • You are powerless against me.

  • Not one of Toho's better monster filcks, is it?

  • Actually it's pretty cool.
