  • I came across your site because I'm into the '64/'65 NYWF so at once it's amusing significant and cool that you capture the essence of it all as if on a real airplane flight plus with a simple pause one can study the aerial shots! I still like the more modern eye candy of the original Shea Stadium having been blue orange the colors of Worlds Fair of Course! the new stadium looks like the Victorian Eyesore That it really is being black over sized mis-shapen etc! Shea was more modern looking!

  • How about trying a video from Floyd Bennett Field at the PARCS field?

  • @LoSamZayin - Not to dis you, but this is 7 min. from, my house..... And I consider this a far drive for me to'fly'.

  • that's a great intro!

  • Not National Geographic or Discovery but great!

I remember being there by the NY pavillion (all the color glass is gone). I had my first slr, a Practika VF. My screw in lens, a Caspeco 135 mm lens was stuck on the camera. After stuggling to unscrew it it came of and landed on the ground. I was able to save the front lens elementfr as a magnifier good for burning ants.

Tthumbs up for your music it covering any plane noise.

What t did you use (plane, camera).

    BiLL from Brooklyn

  • Forgot the plane, but probably a DV520T - at least that's what I use now....

  • that is awesome but what happens if your plane dies over the freeway lol

  • I glide back to home

  • do you know if there's a way to get a live feed from an on-board camera?

  • sure ... FPV

  • Mannnnnnnn ohhh mannn, just beautiful

  • lol that place looks like from gta4:D is there an airport near their?:D and nice plane:D i want one lol my uncle makes airplane lol wanna fly wit him ha

  • those nieghborhoods are modeled after the boroughs in NYC. Even smaller neighborhoods like sunnyside and forest hills are in that game.

Cool video...the ending is funny, thanks.

  • Yes... close to LGA LaGurdia Airport

  • Long range:D

  • Comment removed

  • cooll

  • how did you not run out of range???? that looks so far away from the park where you started!

  • lol the ufo's in men in black

  • Best flight video I've seen! I live about a mile away and have biked through the park several times. How about a picture of the plane itself?

  • great job i would have lost it

  • kool

  • great job perfect music perfect plain and flight well done

  • What did you use to transmit the video?

  • RE: What did you use to transmit the video? --- It's a video camera I rubber band to the plane. I am selling them right now! ebay item number: -- 290294427042

  • increible pero esta loco !

  • Very nice. Im surprised you didnt take any one out going to laguardia. But this is possibly ythe best RC vid ive ever seen.

  • I visited NYC in Nov from the UK and went to see the park. Loved those concrete towers.

  • Kool video. Grew up not too far from the park. Know the whole area. In fact I lived right behind that building at 3:05. The 'Fairview.

Did you have live streaming when you were flying?

  • No... It's a little video camera I mount on the aircraft. BUT - I got the FPV system today, only $550!

  • is that a toy plane?

  • well.... yes! It's a toy... Model RC Plane

  • This is an EXCELLENT video. Truly awesome flying. I would be so nervous to fly that over the expressway... goodness. But I love the aerials of the World's Fair towers... man that sucker went high!

  • Great video. Can you walk right up to trade fair towers? How long does it take to get to the park from central NY and whats the best way to get there?

  • Yes... Walk right up. By car without traffic... take either the Triboro or the 59th Street Bridge, get to the LIE and the Grand Central... you will see the fair towers. Takes about 15 - 20 minutes from Central Park

  • 20-30 minutes from times square on the 7 train. I have a documentary about it on my channel.

  • I use a few cameras... This one was a DV4000 from Mustek. About 4.5 ounces with the battery.

  • what kinda camera do you use?

    where can i get one?

  • cool video... but NY still sucks

  • lol

  • Amazing video, a true work of art.

  • Last time I flew there, the parks commission chased me out and told me no R/C planes allowed (only control line)

  • The park's dept. are assholes. They don't even take care of the park the way they should.

  • i love the intro(GOOGLE EARTH) that was beautiful

  • yay i saw my house

  • any stunts , like going under bridges and getting close to things on the ground??????

  • Not with the camera on it. I do have a few videos up where I do loop-d-loops and rolls. I have a new aerobatic plane that I will record stunts with. Right now the camera mount is just rubber bands and I already dropped a camera (from the sky) once. Make sure to subscribe to my videos. Summer is almost over and I'll have more time to fly and post videos.

  • I live in Suffolk County NY (Long Island)

  • Great video, I haven't been to that park since the World's Fair in 1964.

Wow... and the traffic looks really bad. :(
