I came across your site because I'm into the '64/'65 NYWF so at once it's amusing significant and cool that you capture the essence of it all as if on a real airplane flight plus with a simple pause one can study the aerial shots! I still like the more modern eye candy of the original Shea Stadium having been blue orange the colors of Worlds Fair of Course! the new stadium looks like the Victorian Eyesore That it really is being black over sized mis-shapen etc! Shea was more modern looking!
I remember being there by the NY pavillion (all the color glass is gone). I had my first slr, a Practika VF. My screw in lens, a Caspeco 135 mm lens was stuck on the camera. After stuggling to unscrew it it came of and landed on the ground. I was able to save the front lens elementfr as a magnifier good for burning ants.
Tthumbs up for your music it covering any plane noise.
lol that place looks like from gta4:D is there an airport near their?:D and nice plane:D i want one lol my uncle makes airplane lol wanna fly wit him ha
RE: What did you use to transmit the video? --- It's a video camera I rubber band to the plane. I am selling them right now! ebay item number: -- 290294427042
This is an EXCELLENT video. Truly awesome flying. I would be so nervous to fly that over the expressway... goodness. But I love the aerials of the World's Fair towers... man that sucker went high!
Great video. Can you walk right up to trade fair towers? How long does it take to get to the park from central NY and whats the best way to get there?
Yes... Walk right up. By car without traffic... take either the Triboro or the 59th Street Bridge, get to the LIE and the Grand Central... you will see the fair towers. Takes about 15 - 20 minutes from Central Park
Not with the camera on it. I do have a few videos up where I do loop-d-loops and rolls. I have a new aerobatic plane that I will record stunts with. Right now the camera mount is just rubber bands and I already dropped a camera (from the sky) once. Make sure to subscribe to my videos. Summer is almost over and I'll have more time to fly and post videos.

those nieghborhoods are modeled after the boroughs in NYC. Even smaller neighborhoods like sunnyside and forest hills are in that game.
Cool video...the ending is funny, thanks.

Last time I flew there, the parks commission chased me out and told me no R/C planes allowed (only control line)

The park's dept. are assholes. They don't even take care of the park the way they should.
