I am a proud owner of this vehicle, and so far I have no complaints, what so ever. We got the thule box with the car, which is EXTREMELY usefull. Theres 5 of us, husband, a 4 month old and two 5 year olds, and when we go on trips with a huge stroller we still have room to put something else in the trunk.
Also, going to the beach is a big plus! My sister and I go with one car, with 5 kids :) all the towels, toys, food fits in the thule box, and we are left with all that space inside the car.
I cant believe THIS is replacing the HHR! My HHR is the best car ive ever owned. I buy a brand new car every 2 years. but since the HHR came out, ive just replaced one after the other lol I guess my 2011 will be my last =/ ....
@MsJewel1985 This is not replacing the HHR. This will not come to america. The GMC Granite which is similar to this with suicide doors will be coming soon to America. I read the granite should be coming by fall of 2012.
This is an MPV or Mini Van for the Euro compact MPV segment. It would compete against Ford CMax, Opel Zafira, Renault Scenic, Mazda 5 & other similar sized competitors.
I hate how they make such beautiful concept cars but when they finally put them into production, they look so similar to other cars on the road. I think they should just put a concept car into production w/o any mods.
I would definitely buy the GMC Granite for several reasons. 1, it has awesome design. 2, it is fuel efficient. 3, it has a lot of functional benefits such as the seats which can store a bike. And it is aggressive and feels masculine. And its built tough. Come check out my channel, i did a slide show of the GMC Granite myself.
Chevy needs to be more radical and this will fix that!

If Chevrolet decides to bring the HHR back, they could use this Orlando concept vehicle.

They could make the Chevy bow tie emblem about 30% smaller on the grille . . . looks like it came off a Silverado pickup truck.

I hope they put larger windows in the back on the production version. If they leave it "as is" those blind spots will be huge.

this is gonna be built on the same platform as the cruze

@fritzbyers
I agree, the Granite looks awesome but the Orlando is a seven seater so that could be a reason to get it versus the Granite
ChevyCruze 2 years ago
yes i f you have a larger family but with the granite is sugested for younger buyers and more versitility.
