  • :D

  • Yeah the cops was okay about it but I'm sure he should be doing more important work? Unless all crimes have been solved and there was nothing for him to do, then good job, keep the streets clear of these lens carrying thugs. Everybody down, he's got a 35mm single lens reflex! Please, give me a break!

  • @PhilC68 what do you mean, 'bait'? "Excuse me Sir, I see you're taking photographs & therefore doing nothing wrong, suspicious or illegal. Are you trying to bait me?" That's the problem with the web, any fuckwit is allowed. Pop your head back up your ass PhilC68, you see what happens when you pull it out, you end up talking shit!

  • dickhead

  • It's my opinion that the photographer is out of place and is trying to bait the officer. His comments on the construction of the federal building may actually rise to probable cause. Also, I wonder if he got the officer's written consent to use his image for this publication. While there is no expectation of privacy, if the photographer seeks to publish the officer's image (particularly if he seeks to do so for profit or to hold the person in a bad light) there may be privacy issues involved.

  • @PhilC68 said: "Also, I wonder if he got the officer's written consent to use his image for this publication."

    He doesn't need to.

  • your an ass he was doing a good job

  • ur being a dick about it. get a life

  • Most cops are dicks, this is probably the reason why. Usually the cop is in the wrong in videos like these, but this officer was polite and courteous. It seems to me a lot of photographers don't understand "reasonable suspicion." Yes your technically not breaking the law, but they're just curious as to what you are doing. And they have the right to be. Answer one question and move on. I enjoy seeing people putting cops in their place ...but it looks to me like you went in search of conflict.

  • im sory but your a dick

  • fucking rediculous. harassment my hole. the police man was way nicer than the asshole on camera. just looking for trouble.

  • honestly? just answer the questions. the officer was completely polite and you came off as a total tool.

  • He asked if you were taking pictures for your own use, you said "does it matter?" You couldn't just answer the question? He probably would've left you alone.

    You're being a HUGE dick.

  • this guy is a ass kick guy good jab jan

  • this camera guy is a troll

  • Yes, excellent job! You performed precisely how everyone should. Know your rights and defend them. I can't believe this cop didn't even know what a Terry stop is lol.

  • Excellent Work…. Well Done

  • Your tone of voice is self righteous, nice job stressing this poor guy out. Jerk.

  • Didn't look like harassment to me. To trouble, torment, or confuse by continual persistent attacks, questions, etc. You didn't seem troubled, tormented, or confused. He didn't attack you, all he did was ask questions because he was doing his job. If someone was taking pictures of my house from a public sidewalk I would question or 'harass" as you so carelessly put it. You just went out trolling to see if you could get a reaction from someone. Just choose your words carefully troll.

  • The common misconception thrown out by overzealous law enforcement: "We have lost a lot of our freedoms because of terrorism" ... Wrong ... We have lost a lot of our freedoms because of unintelligent reactions to terrorism.

  • Mr. Policeman, I would like to please speak more to you. Due to an atmosphere of fear and bad managers that you are not responsible for mr. policeman there has been turmoil. You are a good man, like me, and love family and want harmony in this place that we share. Please accept my sincerest apologies for my rudeness and disrespect that you sir do not deserve and especially in unfortunate circumstances. But also thanks for watching my safety during this patriotic chrysilis and rebirth. Seth

  • freeeeddddommmmm

  • That was a good watch.

  • "are you a test" :D Uuuu.. sneaky sneaky.

  • The international boogie man is watching and working and the guilty ones are shitting their pants.

  • The real cameras they need to worry about are in space and planted, I would imagine, with considerable technological sophistication in the vacinity. you can both smile for the camera.

  • Terrorism?? We have never had a terrorist attack in the history of the united states

  • Cameras scare them. Everybody gets your cameras out. Let's keep them where they can been seen and frequently pretend picture shoot at subjects of interest.

  • Maybe he's an architecture student photographing pedestrian bridges that he feels are well constructed. Maybe he's an art student capturing urban images of the night. Maybe he's a pervert. Maybe your a pervert. Now go back in your fucking hole.

  • Thanks for posting. Very interesting conversation!

  • The cop handled this better then this moron

  • Great job American....Use your rights are loose them. Some people just don't get it...

They would suck a cops dick on command....

  • Why don't people just say, "I don't want to talk to you," and then shut up? You don't have to answer any questions. So don't!

  • Waw you are an idiot!!!! The man is nice to you... and you are an ass

  • Seems like your just a douche bag out looking for trouble. Hope you get shot one day.

  • The guard was just doing his job, and he did it well. We all know that security at federal buildings are going to confront someone if they see him photographing the buildings. As long as they are not abusive, I see nothing wrong with that. It is a shame that it has come to that, but that's the way it is. If the guard wasn't an asshole, I would be considerate, and not give him a hard time about doing his job. There are plenty of other instances of cops being assholes; let's focus on those.

  • Omg,what did I just write to @andy2038 . I listened to Skrillex so I got some isnpiration..

  • "We've lost alot of our Freedoms to Terrorism". That's scary to hear it from Law enforcement. Welcome to Berlin 1938.

  • @mi6QBranch yea no shit, I was thinking the SAME thing...

  • I wonder if these photographers are taking pictures to sell them to the terrorist groups, I wish these pricks saying "I'm on a public sidewalk" should be arrested. These liberals are "to me" selling pictures to terrorist groups by putting them on youtube. Perfect cover huh, out in the open. YOU SHOULD BE ARRESTED!

  • @minimaluhftv communist pig

  • @minimaluhftv you should be arrested for walking down the street...you son of a bitch

  • What wouldve happened if he didn't have a camera? What if he didn't exercise his rights? Anyone?

  • hey man there is no need to be a dick, just because you have the right to photograph government officials DOES NOT mean to you have to. This is perhaps the nicest and interesting cop i have seen in awhile and i think our rights should be used in the right manner. sure you can cuss legally but you should pick the times you want to, or you will just look like an ass, and thats one thing the constitution cant protect you from :) however, on another note, had he been mean you would have done great.

  • its weird how just words work one mess up in what you say could have led to that asshole doing what he wants to do with you i like how you handled it smart thinking

  • I hope that police/law enforcement agent sees this video and comment. That official was the most rational, calm and intelligent law enforcement personnel I have ever seen. I wish all law enforcement were required to achieve that level of professionalism, decorum and intelligence.

Having said that, the photog tried to provoke him, but failed. Well done officer. Photog - clearly you need to stick with provoking local cops, they are a lot easier.

  • That guy freaked me out! Im not sure its a real thing that happened. I don't think he is a real fed.

  • @MatsDawson He is

  • lmao free enough. so when the rest of the world is chained up and we have a 10 foot box is that still gonna be free enough. cuz were more free then the rest...

  • "hold still let me get ya picture " .........classic!!!

  • We have NOT lost freedoms due to terrorism, we have lost freedoms due to UNCONSTITUTIONAL AMERICAN GOVERNMENT !!

Thumbs up to a couragous photographer asserting whats left of our dwindling consitutional protections and freedom of speech.

The photographer showed whats its truely like to assert his 4th and 5th Amendment rights.

Awsome job !!! You sir are a REAL patriot.

  • this photgrapher is a total jackass

  • @darryl211 you are a worthless piece of shit,....take to many pills, now!!

  • This photographer is just trying to push peoples buttons and then post it to YouTube like is is tough shit Get a life dude.

  • @EpikJigsawsGame die and burn in hell

  • The photographer is a Douche Bag!!

  • @gorka5270 your mother is a whore

  • wtf, why is the photographer being such a dick?

  • @MiddsPranks he isnt........your queation shows you are a dumb ass

  • Most polite officer EVER, biggest dick photographer EVER.

  • camera guy, get a life would ya

  • Lmfao hold still let me get your picture.

  • "Are you a test from the agency"

lol can be pretty polite when you think it's the boss testing you :-)

  • Right on bro you are my new god!! You should come over to Pasco County and do that with the Nazi Paco County Sheriff. :)

  • Well done!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Hes polite. Wtf ive seen wayy worse

  • THis filthy pig is very scary . . . dunderheads like this are the reason this country is in the crapper. .. scumbag pig

  • This video should be called "Photographer and Officer do a legal term ballet"

  • I agree, I don't see the harrassment here, the officer couldn't have been any more polite.

  • @mayorarce You couldn't be more wrong. The authorities are not your friends. This rose to the level of harrassment. It would have been enough for the officer to ask, "Hey what are you doing out here?" "Do you have any hostile intent?" ...and then turn around and go back to his post. By standing there....with his gun and his uniform....and staring at the person he was done questioning, he was officially harrassing him for no good reason. It was harrassment. Unlawful.

  • The most troubling is not even the harassment by the "polite" cop, but the majority of the comments a-la "you are an idiot, the cop was harassing you politely".

After all , in the democracy, if police state is what most electorate wants, then it would be anti-democratic not to give it to them.

  • you people are idiots. what this policeman did was tantamount to coming up to someone and asking why he drives the car he does. Too big? Why. Oh because you might load it with bomb

  • The security guard (is not a LEO) was polite and the dumbass with the camera needs to get a life.

  • why go out of your way to be a dick to a cop?

  • Photographer is a dick. Period.

  • This photographer is a dick. For once you get a polite officer and you treat him like a complete asshole.

  • @sk8b0i He was not a dick. He just exercised hie rights. And with out the recorder the cop would have been more aggressive, On doubt. We are losing our rights by the pound. So why in the hell would you give up and lay down like a dog.

  • @todddguillory Yes I could also exercise my rights every day to be a dick to others. I could find some law or code written that most don't know about and use it to piss others off. But you know what I have better things to do. I'm out actually taking photos rather than pretending to in order to instigate a security guard and make a video of it. Believe me there's not a single person that would get me to lay down like a dog I guarantee you that so don't make those assumptions. We have rights.

  • If you were handholding there is no way you got a decent photograph. Sounded like the shutter was close to 1" and you were just taking pictures to rub it in. Why not just say, "I'm a night time photographer that does this for enjoyment. Thanks for stopping and checking into what I'm doing. My name is "firstname" nice to meet you. Can I be on my way now?"

I'm all for the premise of what you are doing. Too bad you went about it the wrong way.

  • Of course , you are a trouble maker!

  • These cops must be fired for harassing photographers if they have been warned by their supervisors that photography is legal ....... no if's and or but's about it ....

    just fire their miserable asses.

  • next time, I hope you get tasered for being an asshole. I would upvote that video right away.

  • Guy who recorded this video: fuck you. Cop was doing everything right. You were being a prick.

  • That cop has rape in his eyes.

  • Greatest Abbot and Costello Routine Ever! I almost thought it was real!

  • Dude you're a douchebag. While I completely understand your attempt to troll the cop at least end it with a "thank you for being so fucking awesome". You do realize you came away from this looking like a total fuckwad right? No worries, sometime when you need something from someone you'll get treated the exact same way, karma's a bitch...Kinda like you

  • Sad to see that officer's demeanor change from "I have to check you out because it's part of my job; maybe we can have a nice conversation" to being disappointed in your attitude. He might not be inclined to treat the next photographer as warmly after you projected your problems onto him.

If you have any grace or decency, you should go back and apologize to him for treating him like an anonymous thorn in your side. Cultivating positive contacts often pays off in the end for photographers.

  • This guy is a complete ass hole. Much respect for that police officer though.

  • That would make the shittiest photograph. That's the best location he could find? Giving fotogs a bad fucking name.

  • I like this cop.

  • As a photographer I'd like to chuck a quick "You're an idiot" your way, pal. You *know* there are more serious recorded incidents of harassment of photographers out there and you spend your time... trolling? That cop was polite and respectful 100% of the time and YOU give photographers a bad name. Watching this made me cringe and frankly the officer speaking to you deserves a pat on the back for his personal restraint.

    Stop being such a dick.

  • The Police Officer was actually really polite. I mean, after he said he wasn't detaining the photographer and wasn't breaking any laws, why not just say, yeah it's for personal use. Instead of being an asshole about it.

  • Way to be a fucking douche photographer

  • This police officer is amazing, the photographer is needlessly a dick.

  • You're a fucking scumbag.

  • The officer is just trying to hold a conversation. No need for the photographer to be such an asshole.

  • @m3141592653589793238 Hey asshole! The photographer is just trying to live free. No need for the officer to be such an asshole.

  • Long exposure shot hand held?

  • The "hold still then and let me take your picture" cracked me up ! Classic!

  • Mislabeled, should be: "Photographer Harasses Police (Federal Agent)"

  • I don't know about the title used here. I think this officer is extremely (and exceptionally) professional and there's no "harassment" involved. The problem is the policies he's asked to carry out and, frankly, he knows the law better than 99% of law enforcement. IMO, this video works AGAINST the issue of photographers rights.

  • Record any US Law Enforcement Department and Private Security Business to ensure the laws are obeyed, even if they do not.

I admire Harold George "Harry" Belafonte, Jr. an American singer, songwriter, actor and social activist.

  • "it's still a free country right? i can still walk down public sidewalks?"

    ****************************************************************************

"it's not totally free but it's still free enough." (says a lot!)

personally, i enjoy my FREEDOMs and i want more of them back. what's so wrong with that? good job out there, you got guts for putting our system to the test... nothing wrong with that at all. test, reset.

  • This must have felt like a very intense situation, the people are behind you.

  • @vta1985 Don't speak for all of us, buddy. As you can see by the comments a LOT of us are thinking that that officer showed a huge amount of restraint and that the poster of this video is giving photographers a bad name through all of this. With folks like him out there being such assholes to people it's little wonder that public opinion of photographers can get so divided. He's part of the problem, not the solution.

  • You are a complete idiot. I wish that cop would have kicked the crap out of you and broke your camera for trying to bait him and force your rights down his throat.

  • This cop is not as bright as he likes to believe.

  • I love this, keep not cooperating with these tossers

  • This is perhaps the scariest AND most polite officer I have ever seen.

  • He's investigating him, which is great and understandable since he could be a potential threat. Man I wish they had done the same thing and exhude that much competence and composure after 9/11. That would have greatly helped determine who are the real "terrorists".

  • @machintruc313: It is almost always legal to take photographs of things in public. A person should not have to explain himself to anyone for something he may potentially do.

Police in the U.S. do not have the authority to demand that a person explain his actions. He doesn't even have the authority to know who he is talking with unless he has a reasonable suspicion that a crime is being or has been committed.

  • @Pafoofnik1 I understand what you're saying. You know when you go through customs, they ask you al kinds of questions. The answers don't really matter to them, they just want to see how you react, if you're nervous, etc... And I think that's what he was doing there, trying to "read him".

  • I absolutely cannot believe some of the comments people are leaving on this. If you heard the officer say " this country is free enough, and we have lost alot of freedoms due to terrorist", you should be scared! This, like many gov. robots are so indoctrinated with this b.s it is crazy. A terrorist isn't harrasing and infringing on this mans rights, a gov. puppet is. What good are rights if you don't exercise them? How would you or others no if they are still rights or vanished rights if not?

  • You know what's funny is that this idiot think he's being an upstanding citizen who's standing up for his rights. But when a terrorist comes along ans does the same thing and gets all reconnaissance he needs to blow up the building along with all the federal employees who work in it, than thats when everyone is gonna stop trying to be an uncompliant asshole and wish that the government makes a law that forbids people from filming the federal buildings. But by than its too fuckin late!

  • @RuptureFarms Exactly right! They fail to see that the biggest terrorist threat we face are "homegrown" terrorists. Its a different world after 9/11, and someone taking pictures of a potential target must be investigated. Timothy McVeigh looked nothing like Osama BinLaden....looked like a regular guy, and he was in the Army for god's sake...it could be anyone, even this jerk. And a word to 44truefalse regarding rights: just because you "can" doesnt mean you "should".

  • @dmedicFF said: "someone taking pictures of a potential target must be investigated."

A person should not be penalized for following the law.

  • @Pafoofnik1 Who was penalized here? And what specific purpose was satisfied by him taking pictures?

  • @dmedicFF: An innocent man was detained and asked to explain himself...

    for following the law.

What makes you think that a person has to have a 'specific purpose' to take a photo?

  • @Pafoofnik1 Yep- for good reason. This officer did nothing against his rights, at all. In case you missed it, an American "citizen" was arrested today after a FBI investigation, where he is accused of planning to fly explosive laden drone aircraft into federal buildings. Confiscated from him were several pics of the Pentagon. Lets hear it for all them freedom fighting photographers!!!!!

  • @dmedicFF Wow, the biggest threat we face is home grown terrroist? Do you get all your talking points from obama, biden and big sis? Let me guess, you also defend censorship by regurgitating the " you can't yell fire in a theatre" crap. When you see something do you say something? Thank god i don't need to look for your approval for when and if i should evoke my rights! I believe every time you can you should. I wish i could see things your way but the fact that i have a spine prevents me!

  • @44truefalse OK great, thanks

  • Instead of giving roundabout answer, just tell him you do not wish to give that information...

  • i am amazed at the decency of that cop compared to others,

i bet he didn't even want to come out and the thugs sent him,

makes you feel there's still hope.

  • I would have left. This guy was nice, he might not wanted to stop you but he was told by his superiors, id want to keep my job too. But good work.

  • What a SOCIALIST AGENT, Owned and operated through the FEDS.

  • HEY, Observer get smart before the next Officer may not be so polite! If you want to test his knowledge of the LAWS be prepaired to go to jail if he chooses. For real the officers can say up to NINE different things you didn't do and haul your ass off. I think you have a PEACE officer here, but don't push it. Keep reminding him this was not a stop and there is no dubious reasons to probe you for information. You relieved him of any suspicion

  • THEIR IS ALOT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW..LOL.. THATS SOME FUNNY SHIT.. GREAT VIDEO !!

  • I think this is the first time I have seen someone in that federal officers position act calmly and intelligently. No false demands, or made up reasons why he would have to give up his I.D., and seemed to be well educated in the laws of photographers. Just did his job, and did it well if you ask me.

  • A+ to the guy with the camera

  • Gotgank I agree, I'm also a federal contract guard and he did very good, there some a holes out there that come off like dicks. Come on people you don't think taking pictures of federal buildings after what's happened may look suspicous.

  • @ninjarider84: Why would doing something completely legal be suspicious?

  • I like that the guy asked if he was just a Federal Security tester.. a terrorist could say yeah, I was sent here to see how lenient you guys were with security.. then he talks his way to a secure area and blows everyone up lolol

  • Thats a Security Contractor, not a Fed Agent. And he did a fantastic job. The Poster, on the other hand, was an asshole.

  • being on a public sidewalk is a good enough reason he handled this guy like a pro

  • This agent does not seem like a bad guy. Why does he want a job like this?

  • I don't consent to this conversation, officer. I don't consent to this conversation. I don't consent to searches.

  • You were not harassed, that cop was super professional. I wish they were all like him, I could stop fearing the police then.

  • Why argue with this guy?

Just decline to answer any questions and leave!

  • @isair81 better yet just stay and bore the cop to tears. don't leave so quickly!

  • Whatta dumbass rent a cop!

  • free enough, wow!

  • nice work sir

  • What is a terry stop?

  • @oliver915: Wiki to the rescue:

"In the United States, a Terry stop is a brief detention of a person by police[1] on reasonable suspicion of involvement in criminal activity but short of probable cause to arrest."

  • You did nothing wrong but the cop did nothing wrong by his actions or questions. You were a little bit combative & he was professional and kept his cool the whole time.I was glad to see you stand up for the Bill of Rights. You should be free to record anything and/or anyone in public if the police can do it with dash cams then we all should have that same freedom. Only corrupt/dirty cops want to hide from the camera. If they are doing a good job video just backs them up if a problem does happen.

  • GREAT video. Beautiful. Shalom from Israel.
