Oooh man, you had the bar in the funny spot! :) Glad you got rid of it on time. I have seen a couple of lifters pass out from having the bar in the funny spot. By the time they realized it, it was too late. They were fine though, good to have bumper plates. Enjoy your training.
I never powerlifted a day in my life. I absolutely, positively hate the bench press with every fiber of my being. Plus, pressing doesn't work anymore with my shoulder.
