I was giving china airlines a chance, I flew from Surabaya to Singapore and back, not happy about it. I know I bought the ticket cheap, but the treatment I got was sub par. Stewardess are "cold", rushing with serving food & blanket and hardly smile, offering help impatiently and chatting too much with colleagues instead of paying attention to passengers. Just bcos something is cheap in price shall not necessarily is low in quality. Worse, u cant even complain on their website!!!

@eugene1999119 depends, the last flight I took with EVA, the dervice was BAD. they forget to put my blanket on my seat and i asked for one, the flight attendant gave me this wierd look and the FA was mad for some reason.

China airlines does have a bad safety record as said on wikipedia. However wikipedia also says they are going through a fleet renewal like replacing their a300's with a330's. Safety is now their top priority.

China airlines can not fly into the UK cos of their safety record, Same with Garuda airlines, Many people fly with them cos they are very cheap, George and Scooby went business class from Amsterdam to Bangkok 3 years ago, The Business class seat they had was not the best of seats plenty of legroom but not lie flat seats not even close, You hear it rattle no wonder its banned from the UK. The Scooby has just been looking for business class fares to Sydney from Heathrow and China airlines were £1,880 Scooby has never seen it that cheap with any airliner. Air China (China) flys into Heathrow, I think China airlines (Taiwan) flys cargo only into the UK?

They have cargo flights into MAN every week. And no, the reason why it isn't in the UK is because the right to serve the UK was awarded to EVA AIR, as FRA is rewarded ti CI, FCO is to CI and CDG is to BR. The only European destionations that are served by both Taiwanese carriers are VIE and AMS. You need to get the fact straight before leaving a message as such. Have a good one.

The Scooby here, The Scooby did read ages ago that China airlines were banned from landing in the UK (With Pax) and The Scooby thought it landed with cargo only.....You see if The Scooby was M.D. of China Airlines The Scooby would try and get a slot out of one of the big 3 UK airports UK-Thailand-Taiwan would sell seats easy at the prices China do them for, The Scooby has seen flights to Bangkok Via AMS from NCL for £439. thats with a KLM flight from NCL-AMS that flight alone must be £120+.
